Would it be hard to write a driver for windows and a program for the GP2X so you can use it as a controller?
Consensus is not hard to do, expand your wish list to include other USB controllers:
I would like to see it with Xbox/Xbox360 support, as well as PC support.
For the Xbox/Xbox 360 it could appear as a standard controller with a memory card inserted (a file on the SD card would work to fake an Xbox memcard), we could use it to edit the savegames and hack them even in our lap, or enter codes into cheat engines
, or keep a walkthrough on the screen.
Use it as a programmable SmartJoy adaptor, hook a KB/MS into the Host USB, hook the Slave into an Xbox and you would be able to choose deadzone and calibration options with the GP2X screen.
We could program huge combos in insane precision on the GP2X on the go, even copy/pasting them from readme's using the GP2X.
If you connected this between the Xbox/Xbox360 gamepad you could use it to filter/capture/replay all your keypresses, even make combos and cheats be entered for a simple keypress.
The possibilities are endless, this thing is a portable USB DevKit!!!
I want to get some info and write/port one of these drivers over.
