ok, well I had the same problem and I didn't really feel like installing that update mth411 recommended, I just wanted the USB Mass Storage drivers. So I looked around at the site he provided (not the firefly one, the first one) and I found this:

and... it worked!

..... well.... mostly anyway...
The driver allowed my computer to see my gp32_console as a USB disk drive, and I was able to browse the contents of my SMC. I was celebrating at this point, because I thought I had it working, but I decided to test it to make sure. I found an MP3 that was sitting around on my HDD and started to copy it to my gp32_console. That is when I started running into problems. The file started copying, but then an unexpected and startling thing happened... I got a blue screen error! I don't remember exactly what the error said, but at the bottom it said something like "press any key to continue"

So I did. Then the error appeared again... I pushed any key, again... Then it showed up again... You get the picture. After a while of this happening (I don't know exactly how long, but it was long enough to piss me off >.<) the error finally stopped appearing, and I kind of just assumed that the file didn't transfer, so I decided to do a test. I made a text file called "Test.txt" and wrote a little note about it being a test file in it. I then copied it to my gp32_console with no problems or errors at all.

I also tested it by trying to copy the Minigame Project to my gp32_console and that damned error came back. damn. After pressing any key on the keyboard for a while (it helped lessen the boredom to change what key I pressed

) the error stopped appearing, so I checked to see if any files had transferred. The mp.fxe or whatever the file name is didn't copy, but the MP folder did, unfortunatly there were only two files inside of said folder.
I, for some reason I don't remember, decided to check that MP3 I mentioned earlier. When I checked I was surprised to find the file where I copied it to. I opened it in Winamp to check it, and that's when the strangest thing happened... The song started playing normally, but a few seconds in it played part of a different song!! As the file continued it played parts of many different songs, all from the directory that the file I copied came from. I found this quite funny, but also quite confusing.
I don't have any idea why any of these strange things happened, but if anyone can help, or if someone just wants to give their input on this, it would be appreciated. By me. I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
Woah, it's about 5:45 AM! I better get some sleep...
P.S.: Thanks to anyone who read this whole thing
