Hi!

Some time ago I developed and released the cmd940 framework which would make it very easy to utilize the second CPU on the GP2X. I also had another thread about it on this board. cmd940 can be found on my homepage (look at my signature).

I wanted to know if anyone is already using it successfully in some project.

It looked really really good; sadly, I've only got time for Battlejewels right now and it already does some 940 voodoo. Next project I'd use it :p

Thought you'd released a test version, but hadn't realised you'd done a 'release'..

Looks very interesting and pretty easy to integrate.
I guess most people's problems would be what task can be farmed out to the 940..
I guess possibly sound-based and 3d graphics based (although there are now a few 3d engines for the 940 I believe).
I will definitely use this when I figure out when I can split a project sensibly and use the extra power for 'something'.
Maybe we could do with a list of possible uses for the 940 that people could come up with..? :)

i'll surely take a look at it! i'm looking forward to splitting my 3d engine [naively] hoping for some speed increase :)

yeah sadly after running through the whole of it, it's all C++
looks neato, and lots of work have been put into that.. but i think i'll write my own specific stuff, in pure old plain C :)

Nice to see this one since I'm just about to dive in the possible loadbalancing of audio in LGPT :)
