Doubt the direct cause is the firmware, as you are linking statically.
I would try running it from within a telnet session. You can get a telnet session going by setting up USB networking on the GP2X and using linux's gadget driver:

If you have problems getting networking set up on your F100, you should downgrade to the 2.1.1 firmware. You might need to use Orkie's NAND blanker first, as GPH is retarded and your NAND inevitably gets "bad" blocks after repeated firmware writes (they're aren't actually bad, they've just mistakenly been marked bad by their awful NAND driver.
