Time to celibrate.

This is just a way to congratulate Mike Dawson (Snaff) for his excellent work.

Frodo

has gone where it never had gone before on the gp32. It is in an amazing state already. It is everything it was on the gp32 and now even saves to .d64 a feature I have been begging to implement on the gp32...

Vice

Early but already functioning beyond expectations

I have been using this emulators for two days now and I AM REALLY surprised.
The only thing I can think of as a mini minor is the use of the joystick. It is somewhat difficult to use on the virtual keyboard. The gp32 thing was somehow more accurate but Hey....

I am really pleased with this little machine

Thank you Snaff....

It is very very good - I have only used Vice and Mame on my 2x so far - mainly Vice.

There are a few things to fix like the virtual keyboard and Vic20 screensize but it is so good I donated £25 ($50) to Snaff.

Please go to Snaff's homepage and donate to encourage more work on this great port. Snaff's Page

See my review on Viva Vic for links to my small webspace with a 16K Vic20 launcher for Vice2X.

Thanks again Mike.

F8 = Shift + F7

Doesn't Frodo for GP32 have 'snapshots' though? (which act as savestates)

Frodo for the gp32 has indeed savestates but some games require to save to the actual disk itself for e.g. highscores, rosters...

This is fixed in the gp2x version...
