Buying Gp2x, Some Questions

My student loan has just come in and i've been wanting to buy one of these after reading about the emulation possibilities but I have a few questions before I go ahead and buy one.

Will the first batch of gp2x be any more inferior to future ones, or will they be pretty much the same?

Any idea if the firmware will be different or if is upgradeable?

Is the gp2x able to be powered via an ac adaptor as well as batteries?

As for first batches vs. later batches - hard to say without a crystal ball. But the Gp32 first batch was said to be reliable so...

As for firmware, new revisions can just be flashed. So it's not an issue.

Thanks for your response, I apologise for not reading the FAQ first. Looks like i'll probably be buying one though.

I guess the first batch will be tested exspecially carefully, to avoid bad publicity at launch.

you just cannot allow bad publicity when you are this small. Not like if you're Sony and have millions of people hyped only by the playstation name.
