I have been looking for sometime for a cost effectively solution to a problem and hope that the GP32x may be it.

I want a linux box that can display locally stored html pages on a big screen. The reason being for signage purposes. I want the user to use the GP32x as a fancy control where they can press html rendered buttons on the GP32x and browse the output on a big panel display (I would like to incude low res video if possible). I guess that the box does not have a browser (having no internet capability) but wondered if I could (with the help of this group) reflash the box to include one?

This will save me buying a 50 inch touch screen (if such a thing exists?)

Am I barking up the wrong tree?

Thanks
Eric

Shoudn't be a big problem... http://www.gp2x.de/cgi-bin/cfiles.cgi?0,0,0,0,8,1226 and http://www.gp2x.de/cgi-bin/cfiles.cgi?0,0,0,0,8,1251 are for the gp2x, and work well enough for simple pages. With an F200 and it's lovely touch screen, you should be able to click the buttons. However, using TV-Out turns off the screen, so maybe somebody else could help you out with that. Or, you could use the dpad to control the buttons, and not use the screen on the 2x at all, which would work as well. Welcome to the board!
