Hello everyone. I was browsing Hackaday, as something caught my attention:

Boxee, a free and opensource XBMC - Fork, that is specialized on Internet broadcasts.

Would it be possible to port this to Pandora, to have a nice way to watch podcasts? Will the hardware of the Pandora be able to handle this?

Someones already XBMC it to the BeagleBoard sortah...

Which was prolly a bit of work seeing as it relied on the x86 instruction set in a few places.

A hard answer to give straight.

As for boxxee some of it could be ported, but not any of the social networking stuff which relies on closed source lib known as libboxxee... kindof boxxees trick to halfway be complaint with GPL so they couldn't be ported or forked but lower their risk of being sued. As I'm assuming social networking is more or less the main benefit of boxxee over any other xbmc varients (I don't like it so I just use standard XBMC)... the short answer is no as sources fall.

Probably not for a long time, if at all.

The many of the online Apps rely heavily on Flash.
