hi,

I have got my pandora back from repair.

So I put in my sd-card (with hotfix 4) from which I used to boot and everything was OK.

Then I updated the boot-sd-card with HF5 and after 5 minutes of booting the desktop finally appeared, but neither the touch-screen nor the keyboard did work. No input was possible.

Ok, so I thought I fetch the last rootfs.tar (HF5 included) and write it on a blank new sdcard to boot from.

But there was the same scenario - long boot-time and finally no keyboard, no touchscreen. resetting the pandora by removing the battery didn't help.

was anybody able to boot from sd-card with HF5 ?

greetings

This happens when permissions don't get set right. Try again and make sure to "sudo tar xvfp /path/to/image.gz" in the root of the freshly formatted SD card.

hi mindlord and all !

I tried it again and again - different sdcards, cardreaders and finally on pandora itself - there must be a fault in Hotfix 5 concerning sdcard-boot:

graphical interface starts, but no intput (keyboard or mouse) is possible.

file permissions were ok ...
