Blu+ Screens Actually Better Than Blu?

I have heard from someone who had a BLU+ and it broke and then got a BLU. He said that the BLU was more pale and not as crisp looking as the BLU+. Is that true? Has anyone had any experience with that? I am now considering a BLU+ as a spare if true, I am a stickler for contrast and gamma.

I remember Craig saying something about it having the same settings as an actual LCD monitor. Apparently a regular BLUs screen does not have those settings, which makes it not as good.

I'm not an expert, but, from what I've heard, yes, it is better. Plus I hear the unresponsive L and R buttons problem has been sorted out, too.

Yes the screen is much better, its got correct brightness, the best way to see the difference is to try doom in PC screen mode and in GP32 enhanced mode.

On the Blu+ it looks perfect in PC mode, on the BLU it is dark and hard to see.

how much do you want to pay for a excellent condition boxed unit davec?

Where are you at? Are there any bad pixels or other problems?

If most everything works now on the BLU+ and you get a better screen, I wonder why people still bitch about the BLU+ so much? I would think they would want the one with the better screen.

I don't complain about BLU+, but indeed, SNES would be nice.
Blu+ are fine, but I'm worried about the low overclockability.

Snes is too slow and choppy with sound on. FS 3 is much to choppy, It is no big loss there.

My SNES works fine, no matter how much volume I put. B)
Proper emulation would be nice. :p
And I'm betting plenty of RPG's don't need top notch graphic performance.

Volt mod... Pencil trick...
Using that pencil trick is stupid.
Volt modding doesn't always get 'em past 166 and what's the point in messing with your console when you might be bad at soldering and mess it up?

Yeah, it "works," but you can't save your control configuration, and unless I'm retarded, you can't save states either.

Hey, 0.1 opensnesgp works on the BLU+, it just doesn't work as well as 0.3. Same for snes9xgp. I believe both their problem is, that they are ports from PC with unoptimised code.

Has any checked to see if the BLU+ units have been modified to correct the sterio sound swapping problem?
