i used super c to encode a a video to xvid-- the output specs were 320x240, 25 frames a sec, encoded at624kbs
audio-- mono mp3 at 64kbps sampling freq. 22050 -- using the mencoder encoder. the output size was 450 MB at about 2hr and 20 minutes.
I generally use these settings with zero hassles-- but the two new variables are that the source file for this is .ASF, and the size is about 4 times as big as i usually make. Any ideas as to why the video wont display on the 2x? (it works fine on the computer)-- or any settings that should make it work.
as a side note, i have encoded from ASF before, but it was set at a higher quality level before. This time, the the video was encoded at about 510 kbps
thanks

--well, just by playing around, and using Dvix instead, i got the video to play. So the problem is solved-- but out of curiousity, can anyone tell me why the file wouldnt work? Also, for some reason, the Dvix file came out at only 350 MB. well, if anyone knows whats up... please let me know.
