ok guys.. I need your input on some best games questions again..

anyways whats the best racer's availible on the GP32 in these categories..

top down racers (ie: micro machines, generally, Karnaaj Rally)

behind view racers - not 3D (ie: Pole position, outrun, F1 Race, Top Gear)

behind view -mode 7 racers - (ie: mario kart, GTAdvance3, Nazca Runners)

behind wiew 3D racers - (ie: Need For Speed Underground GBA, That Rally game someone was making for gp32)

and finally.. best overall racer

also could you give me a brief description of the game as well.
thanks guys for all the help.. also whatever did happen to that rally game, I kept hearing a lot about it untill I got my GP32...anyone have a linky to the website?

Top-down/isometrics:

NES: R.C. Pro-Am, R.C. Pro-Am II, Super Sprint, Championship Sprint, Ivan 'Ironman' Stewart's Super Off-Road
SNES: Ivan 'Ironman' Stewart's Super Off-Road
Genesis: Micro Machines (various)
Master System: R.C. Grand Prix

Chase view:

NES: Rad Racer, Rad Racer II, RoadBlasters
SNES: Top Gear
Genesis: Out Run, OutRunners, Turbo Out Run, Super Hang-On, Super Monaco GP, Ayrton Senna's Super Monaco GP II, Mario Andretti GP
PC-Engine: Final Lap Twin, Out Run
Master System: Out Run Europa, GP Rider, Ayrton Senna's Super Monaco GP II
Atari ST: Super Hang-On

Mode 7:

SNES: Super Mario Kart, F-Zero, BS F-Zero 2

Polygonal:

Atari ST: Microprose Formula One Grand Prix, Stunt Car Racer, S.T.U.N. Runner
Genesis: Hard Drivin', Race Drivin' (both glitchy in current emulators)

Overall: Microprose F1 GP...if you can overclock the heck out of CaSTaway. Otherwise, R.C. Pro-Am II or any of the first-party Sega racers. Pole Position II if (when?) it's emulated.

Newman indy for the genesis runs great on Fgen!!! (full 3d racing)

And don't forget supercars 2 on castaway. Runs lika a dream!.
The same as on the Amiga!!!

continental circus was supposed to be called 'continental circuit' but a translator fluffed it up. the arcade version gave me a headache.

Vroom, an all time classic. But only just playable on Castaway unfortunetly.

Try:

Atari 800: great american cross country road race,
Master System: Hang-on, world grand prix.
ST: Celica rally, supercars II, road blasters.
PC Engine: continental circus.

And I'm spent!

I agree with most of these, especially stunt car racer,supercars2 and super sprint on the ST, quality games, shame Vroom doesnt play very well that would be sweet.

Cant see anyone has mentioned Fzero on snes thats a good racer, Overlander on the ST is a fun racer with weapons (as i remember).

Dont dismiss the 8 bit systems either, altho these arent conventional racers they do involve driving, Kickstart 2 c64, Spy Hunter, Chase HQ Speccy, Enduro Racer (Speccy version is the best version in my opinion) , Slicks C64 - excellent top down racer.
