I was asked this question today & it wasn't an easy one to answer (took me a few hours) as I've attended lots of gigs over the years of pretty much every genre you can think of.. but based pretty much on how clear it STILL is after all the years, age alert!.. I've got to say DIO at the Manchester Apollo 30/9/1984 it's the second gig I ever attended but I remember it like it was yesterday & can still hear him if I concentrate, I apparantly stood open mouthed for quite a while when Ronnie James Dio started to sing, this tiny little guy that looked like he'd just come from a circus (never heard of him back then & was dragged along under duress by a pal) just astonished me with the power clarity & range of his voice. I'd never heard anything like it and it still gives me shivers thinking of it today (the recorded stuff doesn't do him justice) I still think there's few that sing rock/metal that come anywhere close to the power, character & versatility his voice had.

What are your memorable gigs?

Only ever been to one concert. Tech N9ne's Baton Rouge stop on his Independent Grind tour at the Varsity Theatre. Jarren Benton and Krizz Kaliko also performed. Killed shit on that stage, boy.

So lit. I never knew you could catch contact high like that.

I'm torn between a concert of some oriental all-stars playing in the Berlin Philharmonics (which was absolutely stunning) and Gérman Díaz last year in Rudolstadt but I'll go with Gérman Díaz, it was a very well thought out concert with hurdy-gurdy, english horn, soprano tuba and some gadgets put together in quite classy classically inspired music that is very hard to describe. Everyone had insane skill and made no mistakes although it was quite complicated stuff and still sounded very emotional.

I've seen many bands and some were well known but to be honest the lesser effort people put into their appearance and marketing, the more effort they actually put into their music and this was always the case.
Coppelius, Blind Guardian, Dragonforce, etc... were nice but when it's supposed to be about the music, I prefer less known stuff.

Best one for me would probably be the Hostile Takeover tour with Tech N9ne and all of Strange Music at the time. Nearly lost conscience at that show from all the jumping around and I lost my voice for at least three days from all the yelling.

David Gilmour at the Palais des congrès in Paris in 2002. Sound, lights, music, players, all this was obscene.

La Ruda Salska at Transbordeur in Villeurbanne. Sometime around 2004.

I'm gonna have to say Tech N9ne as well. I've seen him 5 times and try to catch his show every time he comes through. His energy levels are unmatchable in my opinion.

Run The Jewels
Taskforce
Eminem w/ D12
Roni Size w/ Reprazent band
Necro
And seeing a whole variety of emcees up on stage with End Of The Weak and The Speakers Corner Quartet

The leader of Dionysos is impressive. He spends the whole concert jumping, climbing on stuff, running around everywhere. I'm sure you could power the whole stage if you could harness the energy he spends there.

I had a blast with Les Wampas. Didier Wampas crowd surfing on a chair ("This is team work, you need to hold the feet... of the chair, not mine! Shit, someone is stealing my shoes!")

There was this special Atari Teenage Riot show, where the leader disappeared for some time and the band seemed to stall with loops and stuff.. until he got back saying "sorry, I got some food poisoning on the way here, but I just threw up in the corner over there and now I'm fine, let's get things started!", the rest of the show was amazing, though I didn't dare go too deep in the crowd.

I have a hard time listening to Miossec's discs after hearing the live version. The songs feel so much more heartfelt and full of energy when he plays them live.

And I have fond memories of the underground rock/punk/metal scene in Hong-Kong (plus I could manage in the mosh pit there)

I love every concert but the following are special:

The Exploited - 2005 Bulgaria - The best show ever! brawl with the cops included :D

Motorhead 2015 - Serbia - The mosh pit was far more intense than any Slayer concert I've ever been. :D

D.R.I. - 2011 Bulgaria - sold out 1 mount before the show, 1000 people inside the club, 1000 people in the pit.

ManOwaR - 2008 Bulgaria - 5 hours of epicness.

Destruction, Sodom, Kreator, Annihilator, Voivod, Doro, Accept - 2010 Bulgaria - my favorite bands on a single festival.

On friday Iam heading to Romania in order to see Iron Maiden for a 4th time.
