Great pack and great selection of tunes. I love this kind of sounds... Thanks EvilDragon!
Regarding the problem FFNoir is talking about, yes I've had exactly the same results in my GP2X. I've checked the error through USB Serial and it says that it cannot find MULE.ogg, even though it is there. After doing a 'ls' inside the c64 pack I noticed that the name it had on my SD was mule.ogg (lowercased)!
In order to solve this, I've unzipped the pack, renamed MULE.ogg and MULE.bxe to mule.ogg and mule.bxe, and edited songlist.bxs so the first song is called 'mule' instead of 'MULE' (be careful not to use Notepad but another editor like Programmers Notepad that allows line endings using the LF format and not CR+LF). Now it works.
I think it's related to how Windows and NTFS (not sure if this happens with FAT32 as well) deal with upper and lower case, and don't know how to solve it from inside Beat2X. I have the same problem with MAME, for example. Even though the folder is called 'MAME', if I browse that folder from my GP2X it doesn't appear between 'GameBoy' and 'MegaDrive' (as it should be) but after "Stella" and in lowercase.
So EvilDragon, if you don't mind please change the MULE name to avoid this.
Btw, did I mention that I'll release a new version by the end of this week (and that now this statement is true)?
