Like to turn the back light on you just hold down select for 5 seconds.
Not to worry; even in Osnes9x, I use select to enter the GUI, and need only hold it for 1-2 seconds. Five seconds is an eternityLike to turn the back light on you just hold down select for 5 seconds.
Ack, does this mean when I am playing a game that uses Select a great deal I'll keep turning the BLU off and on?
Yes, cool Screen shots of the new display would be nice tooMine should be here tomorrow (!) so I'll post something then.
I would guess it would be similar to FLU as it is most likely the same light only from the back.gbax says theyre starting shipping tomorrow and it says on the site that the batteries give 5+ hours play

5+ is GP's estimate.

I think people would be complaining at GPSPain if it was as low as people on this board say it would be....I would guess it would be similar to FLU as it is most likely the same light only from the back.gbax says theyre starting shipping tomorrow and it says on the site that the batteries give 5+ hours play

If GP says 5 hours, that is probably at 66 Mhz with the volume all of the way down. At 166Mhz with volume up most likely around 10 minutes... Well probably around 2-1/2 - 3 hours I would guess. It will be interesting to see what Craig finds out. I still want it though, I will just plug it in or use rechargeables.
