First, I've searched the forums and haven't found any answers.
Alright, I'll start from the beginning. I've NEVER encoded anything with subtitles that wasn't part of the picture. This is a whole new ball of wax.
I put the DVD of my favorite Anime series into the fastest DVD drive I have. (This series I spent over $100 buying the full set)
I start up DVD Decrypter, all the files are successfully copied to the right HD. Check.
I start up Auto Gordian Knot, load up the correct VOB, it's called VOB_01_1 and it's got _2, _3 and _4 with it, total 3.35 GB on the HD. Check.
Alright, I select the Japanese audio track cause I prefer it to the english audio track. Check.
I go to select the subtitle track to use and it doesn't list any.... Is there another VOB I should select? VOB_01_0 is only 142 megs and I have no clue if that's the subtitle track. I'd rather not waste 3 hours encoding it to find out it's wrong.
Is there something I'm missing or is there a seperate step for subtitles?
