Just an idea, after reading through the GP2x file archive and particularily the comments: Wouldn't it be nice if every time a new version of the file came up, there was a little line saying so in the comments. As of now, it gets a bit like (say, on an emulator page):

- Ey - Not working at all! its shiiite!
- Very nice, but I really would like better sound
- Yes, a lot better. Now it works perfectly, apart from the sound.
- Mmm, wonderful how all of these old game tunes make me nostalgic!
- Yes. Good job on the sound part!

...which makes me wonder how all of this could be relevant at once. If it instead looked like this:

-> V0.1
- Ey - Not working at all! its shiiite!
-> V0.3B
- Very nice, but I really would like better sound
- Yes, a lot better. Now it works perfectly, apart from the sound.
-> V0.9
- Mmm, wonderful how all of these old game tunes make me nostalgic!
- Yes. Good job on the sound part!

...Then it would make a lot more sense. Not that I know if it is technically possible, but it is an idea :)

Ya it's a nice suggestion, guess all what it needs is adding a table to the database called "applicationVersion" with fields ["applicationName", "Version", "Date"] and rewriting the method that retrieves the comments.

Actually I have written a resource specifically for things like this, if only people would make better use of it!
