And of course, since we all like options...

Newegg has the same card (no tax, free shipping) for $27.99.

Now, if you are local to Chicago, there is often value from getting it "local" so keep that in mind.

UK folk can get this card here VAT free for 18 quid so long as they don't mind waiting. They're out of stock at the jersey warehouse but I'd imagine they'd be in and shipped before you get your pandora :D

The product you guys linked doesn't have SDHC reader included. The product mentioned in the first post does include the reader.

Newegg is selling the card with reader for 31.99 dollars (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820208377) and Picstop is selling the card with reader for 27.99 pounds ( https://www.picstop.co.uk/Secure-Digital-SD...5-Reader---16GB ).

@Pleng - 7DayShop carries that same case for £7.99, if that's of any help (it's here). :) They list the dimensions as being "L19.5x W12 x D3cm".

Yup, thanks for that link! I've seen it go for as low as a fiver elsewhere, but couldn't find any dimensions anywhere. Looks like it should fit, though might need a little modifications in the locations of the straps, or some extra padding.

I've heard the reader is bin fodder so I didn't mention it :)

Given the rate at which flash prices have been decreasing, I wouldn't buy a card intended for the Pandora until it's been shipped.

I was going to wait and get the card closer to launch date from here http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_in...ducts_id=104379

but when I saw this review

QUOTE
Let me know when they go back down to £17.99 and I'll get one!

7daysh-op.com Reply: As I write memory prices are going upwards which is generally rare - we'll always do our level best to reduce cost prices when and where we can - honest !!
PS it may be better for now to buy a couple of smaller GB cards instead ?

I had a hunt about and saw it VAT free for £18 elsewhere so I jumped on it. I figured, within the next couple of months they're unlikely to drop very far below £18 if at all.

You can get sdhc readers for very cheap on ebay. (< 1 USD)

@clippa - I'd just like to add to that, if I may. :p The prices on Class 4 16GB SDHC Cards from the likes of Play.com, 7DayShop, and Amazon UK appear to have stayed the same for two to three months now, apart from the recent rise in prices that seems to have particularly hit Kingston cards (I had ordered one, but Amazon actually cancelled my order due to being unable to source them at that point, so I'm guessing there have been some supply issues as well) and likely some others as well.

I'd even be willing to say that I don't believe that UK flash prices will change before the Pandora ships. :p (I would, of course, love to be wrong, here. ;))

I was in chicago for a concert today. Was planning on getting one but couldn't rememberi f offer was still available.

The offer in my link has gone up to £28. Sorry to everyone who missed it. I'll leave the link there just in case they come down again.
