    No More Usb Support?

the card is a 1gb sanDisk ultra II. I'm running winXP pro service pack 2. The only thing that has changed was the gp2x firmware. I was able to use USB support in 2.0.0, and with 2.1.1, i cant. The card is fine, and all the data on it is fine. Other cards work too...just no more usb support. I...

    No More Usb Support?

I just upgraded to the new firmware (2.1.1) and now my pc does not see my gp2x in USB mode anymore! Is this some kind of bug? I've never had a problem with this before, and I have the same card inserted as always (i never even take the SD card out) All the games on the card works (the...

    Neoragex Vs Gngeo

All my neogeo roms were from my early adventures of emulation using NeoRage back in 2000 (and more recently neoRageX) and they work fine with my gp2x. No conversion was needed. If the roms are pure (no curruption) it will work just fine.

    GP2X Screen Resolutions

What resolutions are supported for games? Is 320x240 my only option? Many of my games are tile based 640x480, and it would sux to have to resize SOOOO many files just to port some games. thanx.

    GP2X Gp2xsdk And Allegro

Hey, I got it to work! 1) I did not use the pre-configured dev-cpp that came withe the sdk. I used the normal version. 2) I followed teh wiki ( http://wiki.gp2x.org/wiki/Using_Devcpp ) on getting dev-cpp to work for the gp2x, but heres what I did to make sure things worked. I got it to work...

    GP2X Gp2xsdk And Allegro

Dev-C++ is only for windows. I used instructions about getting allegro setup with Dev-c++ from this post: http://www.gp32x.de/board/index.php?showtopic=27634 I do have UNIX tools for windows (I can use things like ls and other UNIX command line things) so maybe I can work something out with...

    GP2X Gp2xsdk And Allegro

Sorry to bother you guys...but this allegro problem is pissing me off. I am using the version of Dev-c++ that comes with the GP2X SDK made just for the gp2x. It is automatically configured for the gp2x and SDL. I was finally able to compile the demo SDL code and run it on my gp2x AND in...

    Allegro Setup

what version of Dev-Cpp are you using...the normal windows version, or the one that comes with the GP2X SDK made just for the gp2x. I went to Project->Project options ->parameters tab and in the linker I put: C:/Dev-Cpp/lib/liballeg.a -lpthread -static After that, I went to tools ->...

    Arm-linux-gcc.exe: No Input Files

I gave up on it...and got rid of everything. I then just got the official gp2x sdk. It comes with its own version of Dev-cpp made just for the gp2x. Now, I want to get allegro working for it...I tried to link it like I do normally (linking to the liballeg.a) and I tried to use the config file...

    Arm-linux-gcc.exe: No Input Files

Hi, I'm new to the GP2x dev scene, but not to programming or game programming. I have been using allegro in my spare time for about 6 or 7 years. So, of course when I heard I could port my games to the gp2x, I got excited. That excitement went away when I couldn’t even compile the demo program...
