Now we need to find a way to get the 5.1 sound out of the GP2X for use with 5.1 phones or plugging the sound into a cinema amp when using the tv tuner!

How about compromising on a lemon-scented, KFC hand freshening towelette? If it doesn't actually clear the dust, it will at least smell really nice! :P
Some tissue shreds easily on contact with surfaces so could make matters worse (not dissing your idea, just made that mistake previously when fixing a screen protector to the bairn's DS).

Whoops, yep that's a good point. I've found divX/Xvid to be satisfactory in playback - as long as they ain't blown up to 60" or something - not gonna be a problem on a handheld screen, lol.
