    Wifi problems

As stated earlier in the post, tried all 'fixes' within this post to no avail.

    Wifi problems

I'm not running any pnds, the only application open is a terminal window. When I do try to browse the net, I use the latest midori and haven't had any problems with that, except of course if I try to download anything > 5MB or so. Then the connection drops and the 'authentication loop' continues...

    Wifi problems

Tried straight after the driver installation, then rebooted and tried again with no joy. Likewise with changes to dhcp and static configurations. It seems to me (in my limited wisdom) that the wifi module is unloading itself whilst in the middle of a data transfer, as if it's losing the...

    Wifi problems

Strange, pretty sure I selected the file with Midori. Thanks for the info Tam, tried that and when I first opened the browser, my scp connection restarted, but then died again. After that once the connection dies it doesn't come back without toggling wifi. Alerino, tried all of...

    Release Panorama

Absolutely loving this project, really hope this progresses as welll as it has been recently. This could easily be the 'draw' that people seem to want to bring people in to pandoraland. Reminds me a little of the Playbook UI, and I think it could do more or less the same job, without the...

    Wifi problems

I was one of the unlucky few to receive a pandora with one of the faulty wifi modules, and after a bit of communication with the team I was sent a replacement pandora. I start off with this comment as I have never seen 'normal' wifi use. Although the connection isn't the fastest, I'm able to...

This would be a neat stlye of game to add to the Pandora.

Reminds me a little of an old C64 game, Nebulus.

    RMA's

It's here! Just received my new pandora, and apart from the left nub feeling very loose, it's all good. Best of all it connected to my wireless LAN with no problems. I am once again a very happy bunny, so thank you to all that helped make that happen. :)

Thanks, and so am I. Just received my 'Your pandora has been shipped' mail, now I'm excited all over again. :D

    RMA's

Just received a call from Jacqueline (she really is awesome) with sincere apologies about not being able to pick up the RMA'd pandora. She also confirmed that they would take delivery of it tomorrow from DHL, and send my new unit out to me today. As an aside, I understand completely why...

    RMA's

Also just sent a PM to Craig about this. I'm getting more and more upset about the fact that it seems pretty impossible to get in touch with anyone about this (disregarding email as I know they have a backlog seeing as my mails aren't getting read until after about 3 days).

    RMA's

Just tried the number again and still the same message about only being open from 10 to 4. Anyone got any contact numbers I could try?

    RMA's

First thing I did via email, and tried to call, but the number is only open from 10am til 4pm Mon to Fri.

    RMA's

For those that have had to send their pride and joys away, how have your experiences been? I'm only asking as I sent mine back last week Monday (one of the 8 or so with u/s wife modules) and was just wondering when I'd be getting that lovely email to say that a Pandora had been sent to me. When...

    Network Drive

Wouldn't it be easier to connect via usb and use SD-Mass Storage?

    Wifi issues?

Because it doesn't connect to any AP's?

    Wifi issues?

Not completely true, I was (as far as I'm aware) the first to receive one of these units/post about this issue and I could see both my own AP and neighbouring ones, but I was/am unable to connect to them.

    usb wifi

Thanks for stating the obvious, but how would I get the pandora dev tools (gcc, make, etc) onto my pc?

    usb wifi

Well that was indeed my original plan, but seeing as I want to build something for connectivity, and in order to get the files to build I need connectivity in the first place, then I'm in a catch 22 situation right? Unless of course there's a way I can get the needed files onto an SD card via my pc?
