maybe I got it - I use this things to SLOW down to ease reading - not to SPEED UP (more you keep pressing more it changes). So you're trying to make it scroll faster, aren't you? ok - yes - it's not possible to make it autoscroll faster than normal speed. Sorry :-P
Hello - no MOD playing in my plans for this program, sorry - but the speed of autoscrolling is actually changeble - but for my prog up means slower down faster. Surely I have to improve this thing a bit - but as far as I know it works (I use it) - if it doesn't on your machine, please warn me...
just to know - which kind of document? TXT / PDB / RTF or HTML? I'll have to optimize some code - and maybe I can have this thing faster even without modifying cpu speed. Indeed 15 seconds seems to me too much...
About changing cpu speed on the run - mmh - maybe it's possible - even if i prefer...
I did not change the CPU speed - and if I got it right (but I'm not so sure) it means that's running at the default speed that's 66. Useless (in my opinion) pump it more. If I'm wrong with this thing please correct me.
multilanguage support can be a good idea - if you don't mind to send me translated items I'll add this thing in one of the next beta releases (soon).
I'll think about pages count.
Thanks for your support
nope :-) - !reader main goal is to show texts - and so no frame or java or CSS will never be supported (as far as I think now). But yes, images, are in my wish list (when everything else is finished) because I want to add other file formats that have them too.
As I wrote is a quite basic html...
I don't know if I can bore you with any major beta version - but I try :-)
!Reader v.0.83 differences
- Recent files list (that runs at start-up if it exists) to go back to the last (till) 12 opened files in the same position in which user closed them
- added basic htm support (now it opens...
I know this is not the right part of the forum to ask about it (I saw beta testing area :-) ) - but being the program under testing (I'm also adding some functionality) if you don't mind to ship me your file that causes my prog to freeze it would help me to fix it for the next quick release...
Are you the author of LazyReader? well, please to meet you :-) - I've used you program till I finish mine and you've been a great inspiration source for !Reader. After all I've bought GP32 mainly for e-books (I think this is at the moment the best tool at all) and it's been a real pleasure to...
not now - I took this thing off before releasing this first beta - but in the final version, yes - and - at least in my mind it should have also a way to add short notes to the text. A note: when you restart it - if you close with "restart gp32" you'll be again at the same point of the same...
!Reader per GamePark32
(beta release 0.8)
by Marco Giorgini
If you use your GP32 even for text reading here it is a new e-book reader: !Reader.
This (free) program gives you the chance to read text in TXT, RTF and PDB (Aportis Doc) formats, handling (for RTF format) the main basic formatting...
