I'll take the battery out when I get a chance and take some photos but I 3d printed a SIM Nano to Standard converter and used that. The problem I had is that the standard SIM seems to get in the way of the locking clips so I had to trim a bit off either side. I tried inserting an old standard...
Hi, looking for a bit of advice on getting my Pyra connected to a mobile network. I'm pretty sure I've got the SIM inserted properly (which was a challenge in itself as the socket doesn't seem to like any standard size!) but Modem Manager just sits saying that the card needs to be registered...
I'm in the UK so must have been an hour behind. My email is dated 30th April 2016 at 23:36, my order time on the confirmation itself is 1st May 2016 at 00:36.
I haven't been on the forum for a while so only just found out there is an order status checker webpage. I haven't had an email but a quick check on my order number shows the my Pyra is ready to be shipped. I don't know how long it has been available for me to complete my order and if anyone is...
Played Baldur's Gate through originally on my original xbox, bit didn't like the ending where , might give 2 another look sometime.
Edit - fixed spoiler
I don't use it everyday but it is still my travel console of choice. With such good psone emulation it means I finally get some time to play the likes of Final Fantasy VII. Almost completed it, will finish on this August's holiday!
Removing the cpu is beyond my skills/equipment. I can manage low pin/low density surface mount only. However I have bought a working unit so I can start to compare signals and see if I can track down the issue. It would be nice to find out why so many of these units are failing (the cpu seems...
My gp32 was my favourite holiday device. It was unlit so played beautifully in bright sunlight. Unfortunately it is another victim of the BSOD (blank screen of death)
I remember coding my spectrum emulator for it and being so happy to get it full speed at 48mhz. It took me back to the good old...
Chinese seller cancelled order so ended up getting some compatible replacements locally. Bad news is it didn't fix the problem.
Further investigation shows that while the S3C2400X01 is receiving both the 12mhz and 32khz clocks it isn't outputting an sclk (for the sram) or a vclk for the video...
I've got the same issue, gp32 (non back lit) was working fine when I put it away but now doesn't work. Power light comes on but no display. I've checked the voltages and they seem OK and clock signals are being generated so I think the issue is with the eeprom that controls the initial boot...
Here you go then
From twitter
The case story - too long for twitter, so it's going to be a news post today or tomorrow. Also included: More news about 4GB. Stay tuned!
I'd definitely take 2gb now(ish) with a cpu that is still relevant for today's software rather than wait forever to get a 4gb unit with a cpu that is so out of date the additional is rather pointless.
Hi
I am trying to fulfil a request to port CSBwin to AROS and was hoping to get hold of the Pandora source as it has the sdl mixer code. The link here http://www.dungeon-master.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=28925 is broken, and while I know it wasn't you porting it you look like you had a copy...
Hi
I have ported CSBwin to AROS on a request but have no sound as it requires a specific library. I saw on the topic here http://www.dungeon-master.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=28925 that the Pandora port had the sound routines mapped to SDL_MIXER but the links to the source no longer work...
Amazing. First time back on the forums properly since fatherhood two and a half years ago and it's amazing what is happening. Getting the itch for some new hardware :)
Button mapping already exists on a game per game basis see this post

To make powerdrift playable change the analogue sensitivity in capex for that game, seem to remember...
If you want to know whether a problem is with the port then check whether your roms work on the main version of FBA from www.barryharris.me.uk. If the rom doesn't work with that version then it is obviously not going to work on the Pandora port either, if it works on the PC version then let me...
