    Guarenteed 166mhz GP32!

Oh dear. Sorry to cause offence. :( It was meant in a very light hearted way, actually referring to how I would feel with only a slight speed increase. If anyone doesn't own a GP32, then the extra £20 is well worth shelling out, though obviously in my case, already woning a GP32, it just isn't...

    Guarenteed 166mhz GP32!

Hmmm... £133.23 for a 5% speed increase. Very good for the seller but as the buyer it brings back memories of the comment Mr. Lydon (AKA Rotten) made at the very last Pistols gig! ;) dd

    Guarenteed 166mhz GP32!

A quick question. Would I notice any benefit if I got a "guaranteed" 166Mhz GP32? My current GP32 o/c's @ 156Mhz without any hassle. Would I notice any difference with the extra 10Mhz? dd

    C64 - Frodo games compatibility

Just a follow up to this thread. I have spent the best part of this weekend getting a collection of images of the top 50 games of all time as nominated by the 80's/90's C64 mag, Zzap!64. Check out the following link for further info; The Burrow Here is a list of those titles from the above...

    Castaway Games List

I have not fully tested any of these games from start to finish (I am no Sickboy! ;)). A working title is designated as working due to the fact that it boots without any issues and appears to accept the required input to allow interaction. Obviously where a game needs the use of more than one...

Castaway: Do we need medium res?

Personally not fussed with regards higher resolutions. I am waiting on some sound implementation so that running Rude Llamatron in a public place would be all the more rewarding! ;)

    Haha.. guess what.. New Vecx

No significant speed improvement but the 'start' button does return you to a menu. Still a flickering issue with Scramble which was not so apparent in earlier releases. I sooo want this emu to develop, please keep up the great work Robert! :)

    GP32 DVD ripper?

This is definitely a definitive guide to ripping DVD's and creating DivX files for your GP32! Thoroughly recommended! :)

    Yet another Vecx release..

It appears that you cannot return to a file select menu by pressing the 'start' button. I think the speed is roughly the same as the previous release. I am not sure, but there may be graphical glitches, i.e., the disappearing and reappearing of the land surface in Scramble, which did not occur...

    Frodo Beta8 Compatibility List

I would like to know how you got Skramble to run! Everytime I try and play it using any release of Frodo past beta 5, the collision detection appears to be up the creek as my ship will destruct itself at any given time! Also if I fire at an incoming rocket, my missile just passes...

Whats the best DivX player with sound ?

If I remember correctly, you register seperately with Entware when purchasing Movie Park, so you should not have any problems. Maybe somebody else here can clarify this?

    Films on Divx

Here is an example of an .avi that I created using DVD DEcrypter/DVDx and VirtualDub; http://www.visualvanilla.freeserve.co.uk/s...uff/preview.avi File is roughly 8mb in size. The full movie is 70-odd megs. B)

    Media Players????

The 7,000 is in Korean currency and converts to roughly UK£3.50. I love MoviePark and had no problems with my purchase. I did have to use a credit card (Visa), as they do not accept Switch etc. Really is worth the registration, payment and download time though. :D

    VirtualDub

OK, here is how I go about watching movies with my GP32 and Movie Park. First off, I use DVD Decrypter to rip my original DVD to the hard drive. I then use DVDx with TMPGEnc and the AVIWrapper to convert the .IFO file created by DVD Decrypter. Finally I fire up VirtualDub to create the .avi...
