    PowerVR ISA

Hmm... Looks like Imagination Technologies is releasing a PowerVR SDK and opening up their ISA. I wonder what implications this will have for the Pyra? http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=MTgxOTM

    Dock ports?

Quick question. I know a dock is proposed for the Dragonbox Pyra. In an effort to make docking and using the Pyra with external devices and peripherals easy, will the dock have passthrough ports for things like the HDMI, eSATA and USB? This way, I can simply dock the Pyra, and not have to worry...

External Touchscreen LCD support for Pyra

Greetings: So I wonder if there are ARM Linux drivers that can be used with the multitouch 3M LCD display? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824227087 It would be nice to dock my Pyra and still not lose the ability to touch items on the desktop with my index finger. Thoughts?

    Need some advice

I second Wally's first statement. Acer hardware typically is crapola. HP and ASUS are decent brands to look into. Though I tend to prefer Macs myself, so if your budget allows for some wiggle room, you can opt for a last generation 11" MacBook Air for around $800 or so if you know where to look.

Apple Powerbook G3 (Wallstreet - PDQ) for sale

Hello guys! Up for sale is an Apple Powerbook G3 Wallstreet PDQ in very good condition that I have had for the past year now in my personal collection. I have made several upgrades to the unit and replaced the LCD panel with one procured from iFixit, since the original LCD went bad on the...

    Common Desktop Environment?

Most definitely keep us posted! I'd be interested in tinkering with CDE. It has a Motif like look and feel... and sorta reminds me of SGI IRIX or the older Sun Solaris desktops I played with.

28nm Manufacturing Process - The End of FD-SOI?

Thank you for your thorough explanation. I believe I got my wording all confused. I suppose I was more or less referring to how Intel used more traditional fabrication in Sandy Bridge, which was 32nm, but went to a new fangled 3D tri-gate technology starting in Ivy Bridge, due to the possible...

28nm Manufacturing Process - The End of FD-SOI?

So I noticed that the TI-OMAP5 CPU uses a 28nm process in its design. Although 28nm is quite a ways more efficient than the 45nm process from the OMAP4, it appears that in order to have smaller process sizes, FinFET would need to be used going forward, as FD-SOI is just not going to work all...

    Microware OS-9

Greetings! Anyone who hasn't heard of OS-9 should check it out sometime. It's a rather peculiar OS and has been around in various forms since 1979. I hear there is also a build for ARM. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OS-9 I wonder if we could get this working on the Pyra? :P

    Gngeo Gui Problem

Now it's OK no more crashes. Probably the auto reload GUI has the fault? Because everything else was already as you've said. Thank you, again.

    Gngeo Gui Problem

I have little problem with gngeo 0.7 and also with ragex. When I use L+R+Select/Start to enter the mini-menu (load/save/exit) and I try to select exit, the emu stops for a fraction of second "simulates" the exit by moving the image a few pixels up and then crashes with the image still on. It...

    Play-asia Service (or Lack Of!)

Play-Asia.com order #83xxxx5 from Nov 19, 2007 and it was picked up on the 10th of December. I only ordered a GP2x F-200, but I had some issues with my credit card so I've sent some official papers and the next day (19th of Nov) the product was delivered. By the way I'm from Romania. I think...

    Questions About The Gp2x

The SDHC support on a F-200 is a sure thing? Or this is just a presumption because of the netchip? I'm asking because I want to buy a SDHC and I'm not sure if this card will really work.

I just got my GP2X F-200 from Play-Asia today!!! Thumbs up for P-A.com for delivering the package somehow reinforced and for taking only 2 weeks from Hong Kong to Romania. :P As for the F-200... well I was pretty scared at first glance as the pacman clone that I first played kept on blocking...
