Hello, Thanks for "officializing" the thing and putting it on your site! The -l flag is a nice addition as well. Do you still encouter pbs when loading big files? Some people were still having some when I made the first announcement (look for topic title "gplink 1.2 is out"). Because there...

    BATTERY CHARGING

Nothing to do with that sorry! It is sth related to the charging curve of the batteries. When it's almost done, the second differentiate on the curve becomes negative. So basically, the charger detects that and stop charging. Pure commercial, nothing to do with real things. Please, try to be...

    gplink 1.2 is out!

Yo men! Are you still alive? Nobody was able to give me a more detailed description of the problem! Since it's working for me, I put the pb on hold and continue working on the project. At the moment, I'm studying bash sources to learn how to make autocompletion (the next feature, I think...

    gplink 1.2 is out!

Hello, Upgraded to 0.1.7 version of libusb and cannot reproduce the pb (kernel 2.4.20-8 RH). I've tested dling struts and giro and it worked well. I still need to empty my SMC to be able to dl huge files as you did. I cannot see the pb so far. Can you provide more info about what is happening...

    gplink 1.2 is out!

Hiya, Did you check that the file hasn't got a too long filename?. Sometimes weird things happen in such a case. You can use the -c option to truncate filename but I'm not sure it is completely reliable. I plan to improve that. Another thing : is it happening with the static binary or the one...

    gplink 1.2 is out!

Hail to you all! I am very happy to announce the release of the 1.2 version of linux gp32 usb transfert program with a big new feature : large file size support (thanks to Ulrich Hecht) ! I proposed myself to take over the development of gplink, originally written by Mike Dawson...

    Keyboard for the GP32?!

Hi! The keyboard would be _REALLY_ cool combined with the GP32 Linux port (once we have a proper SMC driver)! One day we may be able to use a terminal with a keyboard on the GP32 ;) Vince

    Linux port...

Hi folks, The upgrade of gplink is going fine. The patch is working well and it's now possible to upload file whose size is more than 4megs. Plus, you also get the progress bar on both the PC and the gP32. I'm busy at the moment. Expect a release in a week or so (maybe on Mike Dawson's site)...

    GP32 2.1 SDK documents?

Hi generalnmx, Since I am French, I may be of little help to you. EpiGP is a team from the famous french school of computer science EPITA (In fact, they are two parts in the school; the EPITA, which is really geared towards computer science and the EPITECH, more focused on engineering sciences...

How many of you are using gplink under Linux?

Hiya, Even better than in order : Mike Dawson (original author) replied and told me that a patch has already been sent to him to enable large file transfer and a progress indicator! The generous donator of the patch is Ulrich Hecht who seem to be a very good coder (google hit with his name...

How many of you are using gplink under Linux?

Hello guys, Thanks for your replies! Glad to see some of you are carrying the true power of Linux with them all along! Ok for the missing features. I will then concentrate on the following points (priority order) 1. Large file transfers (more than 4 Megs) 2. Installation of fpks and other...

How many of you are using gplink under Linux?

Hello, I'm finally in the gp32 community and I find it great;) I'd like to give the people here sth in return for all the homebrewn stuff that I like. Since I'm using Linux, the utility of choice for GP32 transfers is gplink. It nevertheless lacks many features : installation of fxe via fpk...

    GP32 Euro Released cancelled

Hi to you all! Just got my GP32 this morning from Lik-Sang and all this confirms the intuition I had. As soon as they delayed the release, I ordered from Lik-Sang. I completely agree with declaration. It's a pity the launch was cancelled but look at what happened to the NGPC : a good importer...

How long did it take to get your GP32?

Hail to you all! The guy from UPS just got to my home this morning (4 days after the parcel left from Lik-Sang) and could not give me the package (I was not here). Guess what? I am charged 47 euros for customs tax (I live in France)! This rises the price much more. Damn! I should...

GP32 dev scene vs GBA one : I choosed the GP32

Thank you all for your replies (and sorry for my lateness) I knew I made the good choice, just because of the community support around the GP32! Now, with the results of the GP32Spain coding contest, I cannot wait to play fGen and fMAME (even if the lattest was refused). Long live the GP32...

GP32 dev scene vs GBA one : I choosed the GP32

Hello to you all! It's been a while now that I've been wandering on this forum (about 4 months), looking at various posts about the GP32. I'm in France and I was waiting for the GP32 to get released by the beginning of November; because of the postponed release I immediately ordered my GP32...

    My New Project

Hello, Just had a quick look at your project page. I only have one question concerning the price : do you have any idea on how much an fpga-based board costs? I worked on one during my internship at STMicroelectronics (2 fpga chips for Bluetooth) and the cost was around 10k$. Just to let you...
