Thank you for that. I see.

    "command Console" On Quake

Thanks. I assume it has to be a keyboard with a mini usb connector on it? I put this in "Emulation" because I thought Quake on the GP2X was an emulation of the PC game.

    "command Console" On Quake

I remember when playing PC Quake, you could press a key combination and the command console appeared. You could then type in commands such as "noclip" to walk through walls etc. Is there anyway to invoke this on GP2X Quake?

    Volume Control

Thanks. I thought it was most likely a coincidence but I mentioned it just in case there was a known issue. The test mode shows that the GP2X knows when I am pressing the volume button.

    Volume Control

For Anyone Who Can't Get Quake To Run

That makes more sense. The pak0.pak file I downloaded from Pocketmatrix.com was about half the size of the extracted file from the Quake disc. For Anyone Who Can't Get Quake To Run

For Anyone Who Can't Get Quake To Run

Which included me until today. I had got pak0.pak as a download after searching on Google. Screen just went black and I had to reset the GP2X. However, I searched though my old disks and found the original Quake, installed it on my PC then copied pak0.pak and pak1.pak onto the GP2X. Worked a...

    Newbie Questions

Hi. I have just bought a second hand GP2X but it has no instructions with it. It seems to be working OK and it looks as if you use the joypad to highlight and click the joypad to select. I have a 1gig sd card and I wondered if the GP2X expects a certain file structure to look for items which...
