Revisit the TV out cable design

Hi, With the latest news on moving the TV out cable to another company to produce, could we maybe redo the the cable design? If my memory is correct, the original cable was to be a few meters long, and have 5 male phono plugs. One for each of composite, L audio out, R audio out, L audio...

    Audio IN

This is a two parter 1. Is the audio line IN only on the port on the back? That is, there is not a mono audio in on the headphone jack like an ipod touch. 2. Is there any recording software yet? Anyone trying to port audacity? I'd like to use the panda as an amplifier+speakers...

Ethernet Adapter - Must Be Usb 2.0 ?

Hi, There's been a few posts about the usb host port on the pandora. I hope that the pandora will replace my laptop on a few trips, but some of the hotels I have stayed in (US) have provided wired internet access in the room, rather than wireless. So I am thinking of picking up a cheap usb...

    Esc

I hate bringing this up so late in the process, but I am the only Vi(m) user who thinks the Esc key should be a single standalone keypress? And isn't Esc used as a quick abort in a few other apps, as well as a "Esc" + a number key to represent Function keys in terminal windows.

    Uk And Us Power Adapter

Will the supplied PSU/charger take both 110V and 220V on the input side? I hope to have the Pandora as my main travel companion. Some gadgets I have bought came with PSUs that can take either mains voltage, which is great for portable devices. ID

    Powering The Break Out Board

I have had my gp2x (mkII o/c 270mhz version) and breakout box for just over 2 weeks now. When I got them, I did a quick check that they both worked. I connected the bob and put batteries in the gp2x, and plugged a usb stick in. The gp2x powered the bob, and I was able to browse the usb stick. I...

    The "must Have" List

Hi, I am hoping one of the moderators will make this a sticky. I'd like to see a list and short summary of what everyone feels is a "must have" for a newbie to get the best experience from their gp2x. I don't mean wish list, I mean stuff that's already there. It's easy to see what the most...

Hi, I have been watching the gp2x with interest from the start of this year, and since I still have 2 amigas (sadly to be dumped very soon), it appeals to me. I was planning to buy from gp2x.co.uk, but I've mailed and phoned twice this week and haven't been able to get a response. Does anyone...
