    yes, but those static dir names are just because of the --prefix, and sed can fix that for you very easily. but you can also simply build in a chroot, and create whatever "fake" path you may wish, to have it corrospond to your freebsd directory where you plan on copying it to.

    enable networking on it and telnet in. unless you have actually crashed the system (kernel, init, and such), you can simply restart the menu.

    @neokellyzero: i have not yet sent my gp2x in yet, but when i have talked with gp2x.co.uk on phone, they have been very nice to answer questions and such. i would recommend buying from them, since craigix does act alot for the community, plus im willing to bet they are alot easier to deal with...

    then opensource your stuff, under something like the GPL, if the other company wish to use your code, they must obey the GPL(though we've seen that not many users actually care about gpl enforcement), and it certainly gives YOU all the backing you need should you discover they dont.
