Uh, Craigix has done nothing of the sort. In fact, he's saying the exact opposite. He's made it clear in the past that there won't be a Pandora 2 for at least a couple of years, and he hopes that no other console comes close before that time.
My Vectrex is 5 years younger than me (1982 vs 1977) but I say it's close enough :)
Now if only I could figure out how to open the thing so I can replace all the dodgy caps in it...
The current rating is just the *maximum* that can be drawn before regulation fails and the voltage starts to sag (or an overcurrent limiter cuts in). As long as it's higher than the Pandora's current draw (and it most definitely is, a working P should pull less than an amp) then it'll be fine.
Exactly - if you're using a poor scaling algorithm prior to encoding (e.g. for real-time recording), but a good post-scaler in your media player, then your results will be distinctly skewed. IIRC Common video encoding wisdom holds that a lower-res video looks better than a higher-res one with a...
Except they aren't "out now". TI releases samples to allow device engineers to start working with them long before actual production quantities are available.
Hmmm... my parents have a large chunk of Corian that's been in their garage for years... now I have to figure out how to pinch it when I'm next over there.
Probably the same idiot who was working their way through all of craigix's old posts and downmodding them. Pretty much the only time I've been using the mod buttons is to cancel out that fool's handiwork.
I can't say these forums are particularly pretty, but at least they aren't making my head hurt. (I try to read anything on gp2x now and my eyes keep trying to look away in discomfort. How is it doing that?)
Yay for this forum!
Pandora browsing of this forum will be 1% BECAUSE of this theme. I read many boards, and they're all different and I'm fairly uncritical about them, but this theme is annoying me right from the start. On my screen the fonts are either massive or indecipherably small; the topic links in the new...
There's nothing intrinsic to resistive touchscreens that prevents multitouch; it's just that up to now no resistive touchscreen has been designed to support it, whilst the capacitive ones have. That video is of a product with multitouch designed in, not a standard resistive touchscreen with...
Every so often I'm tempted to dig into Vibribbon and reverse engineer it's audio->level code, but I've not got around to it yet (whenever I pull out Vibribbon I just end up playing it.)
You don't need to get a gmail account to use google services, you can sign up with any email account you have - just like this board.
Of course, some people are averse to having a google account of any kind, that is their perogative.
