Hurrah for Robster!
I had a little trouble getting stuck on the 'Firmware Upgrading' screen (which shouldn't take long compared to the patching/formatting screens), but when I copied over all the GPH firmware files and tried again it worked just fine.

Yeah, I liked the original Wipeout and 2097 but Rollcage had a lot of neat ideas that were very well implemented. And for a game that gave Wiepout a run for its money, it was largely ignored which was pretty sad.

I wouldn't expect anyone to go out and buy a HDTV and a Blu-Ray player, Xbox 360 and Sky HD just to get high def. That would be madness. But when you do eventually need a new TV, it'll make sense to get a HDTV. And when you have a HDTV...
Why would you have to repurchase the same films? Are Sony forcing you to bin your entire DVD collection? Blu-Ray is backwards compatible with DVD, only a manic completist would repurchase films they already own. Blu-Ray isn't a new format, it's just the same but better.

Yes, but I already have a PC for doing 'other stuff' and I don't want to spend hundreds of pounds upgrading it just to play what would amount to a couple of games. At least the Xbox has a much larger choice and variety of games available.
