Odd priorites in the GP32 emu scene

Oh, so the CPC used alot modes, but did it do this in games also? The MSX2 computer also had a load of weird modes, ( I wonder how the emu handles these, gotta try that), but not many games used these. But some games switched resolution on a certain scanline to be able to have the gamearea in...

Odd priorites in the GP32 emu scene

Remember that the nice people who develop emus and PD apps, games do this for free. So be nice to them :) And as mentioned earlier, porting and coding new emus is a learning experience so the more projects that are beeing in development the more knowledge will be accumulated. :D

    FLU guide

I have made a simple Visual guide how the FLU works since there seems to be quite alot of misunderstandings about this. Is there some place on the forum where I can post the image?

    DIY BACKLIGHT!

First of all the GP32 is not backlit , but frontlit. Allthough I own one with FLU I have built my own FLU but have had alot of trouble finding the correct "light distribution sheet" The thin ribbed plastic that sits between the LCD the the scratch shield. The ribs are either to big, making the...

    Avatars

Perhaps it's photoshops export function that is somehow bad. Don't know why I used that anyway, I like Paintshop Pro a lot more. *Waving the PSP flag* :D

    Avatars

I don't want to clutter the forum with this quite unimportant question so I post it here.. I tried to upload an Avatar, it was a standard Gif89 80*64 pixels, It looked really bad, like it had been reduced to 16 colors or something. So I uploaded a Jpeg instead and that looks ok. I was just...

I think it was called SAM on the C64, There was a very funny Demo where it read from a childrens book and made all the voices, a big troll, a little scared girl etc. Awsome stuff :D

    MSX Emu too fast?

Hi! I was playing Nemesis1 on the msx emu the other day and the game seemed to run to fast. So I fired up my old SVI728 and timed Nemesis. If you press fire and then move the ship to the back of the screen and just wait to get killed it takes 34 seconds on a real msx but only 28 on a GP32. Does...

Both C64 and Atari ST had this, although they did not sound that good, The lyrics in Das Boot "Das Boot, 1 2 3 Techno, etc" was made with the ST version ;)

    scrambled sound

Yeah, better sample support and perhaps a speed throttle that ensures 100% speed, and the ability to fastforward would be nice also. :) Just have to wait and see.

    new gp32 coloring project...

I spraypainted my Watara Supervision many years ago, and it still looks good. I used purple metallic Car paint. Just remember to wipe the GP32 with Thinner before to make it matt otherwise the paint wont stick so good. also painting the buttons doesnt work that good, to much wear and tear. :)
