    Need replacement FLU screen

I also need a replacement. :( My GP got stepped on (not by me) so there is scratches on the FLU. I have mailed the guys who make it but gotten no answer. In Sweden we have a big electronics company called ELFA, they seem to have sheets of ribbed plastic that might work as a replacement, but...

    Atari ST GODS

Do you mean as a RAM dump? As far as I know there was no games for the ST on cartridge and therefore no ROM-dumps. But it is available on disk. :) perhaps I misunderstood your question..

    Upgrading to Multifirmware

Hi! I was thinking of upgrading firmware but is not sure if I dare. I thought of flashing this multifirmware. Anything I need to look out for? And also I have read about some unlucky people who now have a nice looking but useless piece of plastic :( Has anyone flashed Multifirmware and can give...

Is it just my gp32 or..

Abruptly cutting power to all kinds of electronic stuff usually cause weird stuff to happen, but it shouldn't be harmful. Garbage on the screen and an occasional crackle or pop is quite normal. It usually happens when power is cut, and the voltage for a nanosecond falls into the illegal area...

    FLU, Dust problems etc.

Hi! I have created a couple of pictures that explains how the FLU works and also how to (hopefully) get rid of the dust problems. The pictures is not meant as a complete guide but more as a base for discussion and reference. The link is: http://www.ravestream.org/animator/ Tobias.

    FLU - Dustfix?

I tried electrical tape but that was too thick so I used regular office tape, you might also need thin double sided tape to fasten the frame again. I don't know how it is fastened on a non FLU but if you have one with FLU it is just dubbelsided tape. But I think you can just use a little "too...

    FLU - Dustfix?

You could remove the grey frame around the LCD and put some tape around it so that it fits better, then just put it back, that should prevent dust from getting in that way. But dust also seems to creep in from inside theGP32 (The thumbstick is a problem). :( If you have a FLU there is a small...

    Screen rubbing?

The Anti reflection film is quite crappy, and after a while it just makes it worse. If you want you can allways remove the grey frame around the display, (it's just fastened with double sided tape) and replace the shield with a piece of CD cover or whatever you can find, and you don't have to...

    text viewer

:) Having something like a speech synth for the GP32 wpuld be really cool. The Atari ST version was a .TTP (Tos Takes Parameters) application, so if you use Tos 2.06 all you should have to do is to drop a textfile on the Speech.TTP icon. Havn't tested if it works on Castaway yet.
