I just noticed loading all folders on frontend load takes quite a while. So fixing that up and adding the SD card icons. Then I just need to get the font working...

How about reading the current time from the SD on boot, at a day, then write it back and don't think about it again. Time would advance then, if you only care about that files get newer and not about the actual time then that would be enough.
Did you pick the 0.2? I just noticed there is also one in the archives. That might be slightly older (as I updated my download with 20 minutes of the first post of this topic to solve that nand writing...)
Anyhow, version 0.9 will come soon to solve many of the current issues ;)

No I think every object gets checked againt every other object in the game. And thus the amount of collision checks done grow exponential with the number of objects in the game.
