Well, I have to ask, what do you folks think are the best games to benchmark with for 16 and 32bit systems? Most PCmag reviews use Far Cry and Crysis(though those are a bit old). Its hard to remember which NES titles to stress. Now that I think of it, how is the GBA emu?
What I have seen here are some titles like Lightning Force 4 (mega drive). Dont know the fps though. On my rig, Gunstar Heroes chugs in Kega Fusion at about 50fps in windows. I want the pandora to stuff that. PSX stuff was quoted at about 112fps for Final Fantasy 7 but that was FF7. I want...
I know its early and some optimizations are still developing but are there any current specs? I assume some games demand more than others.
Mega Drive/Gunstar Heroes or Virtua Racing = ?? fps
SNES/Star Fox or Killer Instinct = ?? fps
I read that PSX runs fine but I wonder if G-Darius runs at...
Drat! I know its too early for optimized N64 emu but without sound it just seems like your getting half the game. I thought it was usually a given that an emu runs faster without sound.
This device is something of a holy grail for me (and for probably a majority of other needy gamers.) It took me three months to save up the cash for everything. I know many of you have waited a long time and maybe gave up somewhere only to have came back toward the end. BUT I say fix this one...
The only thing Im worried about is if the rubber sheet will split around the buttons. This has happened on some of my old controllers under a few months use. I have taken to adding a very thin layer of oil to prevent them from wearing/drying out. I dont think I can do this to the Pandora with...

Id like to say that Im not a coder or major tech geek but I am fascinated with the technical jargon and development insight in this thread. I wish I had a comp sci degree and better knowledge of binary programming. For me, emulation was the only way to play many great discontinued and foreign...
I admit it was a fleeting statement made of ignorance. For whatever reason I thought Linux wasnt to far removed from old Mac OS. But there are more mitigating factors than I understand. I feel pretty damn stupid about now. <_<
