True, it would make more sense to have a working Pandy than a dud, and even then whats to say a spy hasnt gotten hold of one already. (Im not really that serious though).

I suspect it might be a change in the circuit board. Its not something anyone can see just the smallest tweak. It screws everything up on the software side but to the company the hardware looks exactly the same.

Back in November of 2009 I ordered the full package (all accessories) which ran me about $484 USD but $500 for the unit alone is quite feasible for some folks.

I guess generic or clunky might be better words. For me it doesnt appear too sleek. Photos dont illustrate as much as when you actually hold the unit though. I must admit I really like the Pandora's layout.

In regards to FF8, it wasnt supposed to be a love story. It was going to be some crazy sci fi adventure but changed halfway through development for some reasons I dont remember. I heard the original japanese text was far more explanatory. I could imagine how much was lost in translation...
When I think about it, I dont understand why some folks would get upset. We should have had our own forum since launch to keep it all together rather than using someone else's back yard. The Pandora is really a stand alone system by its design and Craig did the logical thing in my opinion.
