    Drmd Loosing Its Savestates...

Heya guys, I'm having trouble with DrMD. I am launching a rom ( for instance, Sonic3), playing a tad, then making a savestate ( L+R to go back in menu, i select "save state", choose slot0, menu says slot is used, perfect, fine). I can then load it just fine, it works flawlessly. However...

would be great :) I love it, and even wiuth this bug, i'll stick to it. One last thing : anybody know why there're 4 folders displayed in the game menu, and 7 in the video menu ? i'd soo love to see it being 7 everywhere... can you change that too, to make it consistent ?

My Pulsar Skin 0.2 Beta Is Ready For Download :)

i LOVE it, but for one thing : when you have to select NAND/SD, the selected option is black. As well as in the option menu. Everywhere else, it is white. people are used to think that selected things are brighter than the others... I often select the wrong one, or wonders where is the selected...

Be careful, you'll get flamed... You don't know what you're talking about, and nothing is more annoying to devs that getting advice from people who do not know about programming :(

Flickering And Diag. Lines Are Software Probs.

Anyone notices that when you use DrMD there is no FLICKERING, no diagonals lines AT ALL ? This wonderful, sublime, amazing emulator ( i definitly bow before its dev) tells us 2 things : -The LCD screen of the gp2x is great and beautiful and PERFECT for emulation -the flickering, dots, scanlines...

Screen Quality : Anyone With Those Issues ?

Let's hope... I made a video of the flickering. It's crappy, but hey, got a crappy webcam. However, you do see the flickering. Look at the bottom of the screen : http://www.ocbase.com/images/.temp/flick.avi Is it the same for you ?

Screen Quality : Anyone With Those Issues ?

I'm not complaining about the scanlines, or even the diagonal lines, as i think they are software problems. Hoiwever, the flickering really seems like a repetitive loss in power... it's truly weird. I'll make a video in a few hours... perhaps it'll show on it, and you'll tell me if it's a...

Screen Quality : Anyone With Those Issues ?

So it seems i'm not the only one.... phew. I'll try to make a video to show it, but it'll be hard with a crappy webcam :D Can i have another one confirming this, so that i feel safe ?

Screen Quality : Anyone With Those Issues ?

Yep, but during video playback ? And does your screen "flicker" when you're in the video menu, selecting the video to play ? I really want to know if it is a hardware fault or not... this flickering really bother me. The feeling is really like a 60Hz old CRT screen.

Screen Quality : Anyone With Those Issues ?

Erf :( Hardware fault or software ? The feeling is really as if the LCD was like a CRT at 60Hz. Plain colors does not seem to have this problem ( T-mode ). However, is is really visible in dark pictures, and in menus like video and apps... I have this problem since day 1, with the built in...

Screen Quality : Anyone With Those Issues ?

On my GP2x, when i'm playing videos ( xvid), i have weird diagonal lines showing on the screen... and it is "flickering" a tad. It is especially visible in the video player menu, which is blue/purple : the bottom of the screen is flickering, as if it was loosing brightness every split second...

    Firmware Flashing : Possible Fix

i never did say i would use cat to flash the firmware... someone else did :D i just tryied to copy it on the SD mount point, or tried to format the SD card in the gp2x using S-term, that's it.

    256mb Card

I personally don't think the firmware upgrading thing depends on the type of card you buy, but rather on what partition/filesystem you're using. I mean, i have no way to explain why my Dame-elec 1GB wasn't compatible AT ALL with the unit, THEN magically, at #40 reformat using fdisk, it worked...
