@Don Miguel I'm not sure I'd count this poll sample as very representative of the whole OpenPandora "market".
only ~130 votes out 4250 registered forum users voted... should we consider 3% participation a high score for a forum?
~130 seems just barely above the number of Pandora devs.
so...
yeah, that's all "normal".
I'll have to pre-generate more of the world, the CPU is having a hard time keeping up in real-time during the initial generation.
2 months isn't much to make a full 3D game, consider how long it took to get Minecraft where it is.
its a work in progress.
maybe some people vote to show their interest in the project's continuation.
same here, I'd have organized my schedule differently.
adding more feature rather than making sure it'd work right out of the box in time for the "deadline".
[/SPOILER]
have you tried with
lowp vec3 E = ....
?
also, try moving p=fract(pos); to the top away from its first use
vec3 E = ...
could be at the bottom of the texture lookups to put more stuff between D,F,H,B first use
this may reduce data dependency stalls if the shader...
I know, I expected it to happen to some degree ( this being the internets and all ;) )
joke actually went better than the worst case I feared.
quite a few people got a good laugh tho so I'm happy.
*troll face*
you really can't make a joke in a large enough group without someone taking...
hahahaha @votes
@Askarus some people had made comments when Qemu was announced as to Qemu being the winner and that everybody else might as well give up.
that sort-of-MEME was the idea for the joke.
the lack of news and people asking what's up with the compo gave a good opportunity for a...
it shouldn't corrupt the card, it will however crash everything that was using the swap and there's a good possibility the kernel will panic and halt the system.
because from the kernel's point of view you just yanked RAM out of the machine (in a way, swap is very slow ram)
laurencevde got a...
yeah, I wouldn't put a swap on the NAND, but I really have no fear of putting one on the SD card.
its so slow that once it start swapping you'll really notice and want close some browser tabs to free up memory anyway.
still beats having the browser or other random programs just suddenly die...
its a non-issue.
the number of write needed before an SD card fails is quite large, much larger than anyone's patience when running something that would hit a swap file on an SD card non-stop.
you'll get fed up of waiting long before the SD dies.
take the usual 100,000 erase cycles...
dunno, maybe.
I was just going on the slight controvercy,
I think it would have been funny too had I put my game as the only options instead, but I figured putting qemu was funnier.
no malice intended.
btw, my reaction when qemu was announced was
"oh oh oh! well played. well played."...
