    Ajack's Menu Bar/icon Collection

Hey Thorax theyre just as good as the orignal ones :) although there is a small fault in the SMS_SDL one :) it's actually a Game Gear / Master System Emualtor (not just game gear :) ) if you don't want to change it or create one for both systems (sms + gg) in single shot, i'll use the SMS_SDL...

Hey guys, I tried it out last night, really nice work hope to see something good coming out of it... Gmenu2X

basically all you need to edit are always these 2 lines : cd /usr/gp2x exec ./gp2xmenu the first cd command you to change to the directory where gmenu2x is installed like cd /mnt/sd/gmenu2x the second exec command you have to change to ./gmenu2x that's it replace the gpe (script) files and...

    The Caanoo Information Thread

you understand this wrong :) the caanoo has 128 mb ram but you can never go over 84 mb ram even when you wanted too (unless with a swap file) when windows has 6 gig ram you could use all of it (well not all of it there are probably bits reserved). But it's not the FREE memory i'm talking about...

    Everything I Tried Seems Slow

post like this piss me off, but i'll try to keep my temper... the caanoo is a new system, it's community based which means the community makes the software and emulators.. since it's a new system the software is new and not as good as on systems that have had support from the community for a...

    Gmenu2X

ok i'll test those when i get home and see if i can find a way around it somehow... programs can go around the problems though if sources are availible... what programmers could do is see if for example /mnt/sd/autorun.gpe exists on the sd card and run that instead of just quiting or starting...

    Gmenu2X

i think it goes to a black screen because some program's might crash or the menu doesn't restart like it should, we can't replace the default gp2xmenu with a script to run gmenu2x, since the nand is read only, if we could do that the blackscreen would probably go away... you could try to run...

    The Caanoo Information Thread

Not sure if you guys know this but even though the caanoo has 128 MB Ram only 84 MB Ram is availible to applications ... just thought i'd share this (you can easily see this by doing a free command using telnet)

Hacked Up (Internal) Emflashplayer.gpu For Use With Picklelauncher

Canoo Html Based Ui (Only Idea!)

Yes telnet is possible, donwload the ini files from the archive, or look up my intresting nitbits thread on how to do it... or some other threads where i posted about it (search for telnet in the caanoo subforum). Basically you can do it on 2 ways, through wifi (easiest method) or through...

    Compiling Under Windows

I think that's a better idea, cygwin (from experience) tends to give more problems sometimes, problems you normally don't get when running from within linux (either through vmware or not)

    Compiling Under Windows

looking at the build log i noticed these lines : [DEBUG] CT_HEADERS_DIR=/opt/cross-eabi/arm-gph-linux-gnueabi/sys-root/usr/include [DEBUG] CT_HOST=i686-build_pc-cygwin my guess is, that you have to use cygwin and that the toolchain has to be located in the /opt/cross-eabi/ dir which...

    Compiling Under Windows

i'll look at it now, just downloaded it from the archive, from the looks of it, it's only the compiler without additional binaries, you probably have to replace the compiler within the offical sdk with the windows one (so delete that one) i'll tried it out and keep you posted got it working...

Canoo Html Based Ui (Only Idea!)

i make the settings for codeblocks always myselve, i'm not even using the code blocks version that came with the sdk so i'm not certain what you choose. But if the binarie compiled and you created the binarie using the caanoo gcc arm compiler and tried to run it on your linux box (like using the...

I Need Info For Compile With Sdk And Others Info

you were trying to edit emulators, that's all fine and dandy, but porting emulators over to another platform is not as easy as a simple port, although i have to admit it might be once you get to know simple sdl statements so you can add menu's and such or other options like save state...

Canoo Html Based Ui (Only Idea!)

That's easy and a common mistake and has 2 possible causes : i'm guessing it compiled without a problem but when you run it it gives you that kind of error right ? 1) you compiled for the caanoo (which is arm architecture) and are trying to run the binarie on your linux (X86 architecture) pc...

    Compiling Under Windows

i haven't used the windows sdk (yet) i could try tonight if you like, but all you basically need to do in codeblocks is create a new compiler settings things where you point to the directory containing the bin dir and select the binaries like g++ c++ (for the caanoo) once you have done that you...
