yeah same here but i have no need need for them, I was frightend for a moment too but tried to hook up usb and it came back alive, i'm guessing the component cables are using the pins for the battery and that short circuited the whole caanoo or something as soon as i hooked the cable up to my...

    Intresting Nitbits...

Allrighty, One more intresting thing ! The orignal TV OUT Cable from the GP2X works without a problem on the caanoo so if you still have one you can use it ! I'm getting best results using christv, choosing PAL in the tv out application and using Chris TV to capture the images, for some weird...

Any News On New Console Emul?

I'm still trying to get the sms_sdl build i did for dingoo to work on the caanoo, i pinpointed the random crash at exit, but can't seem to find the real cause. I'm not freeing things twice but it's must be something related with a free statement, since it happens when freeing an SDL_Surface...

    Intresting Nitbits...

Yes as far as i know it's just one file at a time... but that's what i needed most of the time to upload just a modified executeable which i just builded... I couldn't find an ftp server included but it shouldn't be too hard to port one, but i have no need for it. Samba i haven't looked into...

    Usb-Ethernet With Stock Usb Cable

what do you mean exactly with the "endpoints thing" ? if the source is like on the dingoo so basically a linux kernel, it should be possible, unless it's something hardware related since as far as i remember it was only a define in the module sources of the gadget rndis module...

    Usb-Ethernet With Stock Usb Cable

here's another thread about it,for reference, from the dingoonity forums which i made and someone made a helpfull "dummy" post to do it :) It's a good read since the drivers don't work out of the box, they are designed to work with any CDC ethernet device, so you have to supply the device...

Any News On New Console Emul?

no not yet, but i'm aware of the problem, since i played a few games to test and noticed that games like mortal kombat and even sonic sometimes are not really good to handle with the analog stick and figured out one had to include margins of error, well thats what i named it but it's probably...

    Usb-Ethernet With Stock Usb Cable

does it use the ethernet gadget module ? i remember for the dingoo we had the same problem for windows users, no suiteable drivers where to be found. However we also found a solution for that, but it needs a new kernel ... (or kernel module replaced) we changed it to CDC Ethernet only and there...

Any News On New Console Emul?

patience is a virtue or when its done or (i like this one) whenever someone ask's release date increases with 1 month ;) anyway i had sms_sdl running (the one i did for the dingoo) on my caanoo from day one, but there's no rom selector and still have to find a certain bug... I also haven't...

    Gmenu2X

eum the nand IS ACCESSIBLE ! you just have to telnet to the canoo, i copied files from the nand to my sd card, the only thing i haven't tried is to check if it has write access, which i guess it does since there are probably config files somewhere on it, even if it doesn't and it's mounted read...

Problems With Fungp Or Pc Manager?

Not really, since you probably selected the same folder to save the file in the applet they use, maybe the check this themselves somehow. could be many factors, but its probably something like partialy downloaded files that *seemed* to make it go that fast

Problems With Fungp Or Pc Manager?

    Intresting Nitbits...

well i tried the flash player with a few swf's, it played audio, but trying some "known / common" games made it either crash (well not crash but nothing happend) or it ran to slow. It does use the touchscreen so still something fun to play with or those intrested. I didn't test much though, a...
