    Bolcataxian (v1.0)

Nice review, and I largely agree. If *I* were being nit picking, I'd say I disagree with your comments about the title screen - it looks great to me, and uses (from memory) the same or similar colour scheme and font to the original Galaxian - a very nice touch :)

Crocodingus is very nice, too. Still working my way through - I'm very impressed thus far.

Runs an absolute treat on the latest beta, and it is indeed a great shooter :)

    Zx Speccy Vs. C64!

From what I gather, 128k games generally incorporated music/improved sound where 48k versions did not. Also, some games *only* work with 128k, like Strider and R-Type (I think) for example.

Reesy: yep, you're absolutely right about Dragons Fury - already logged a good few hours on that one :) Frolik: I'll have to hunt down Dino Land and give it a whirl, thanks for mentioning it.

    Zx Speccy Vs. C64!

I, too, was a C64 boy (I don't think you could even get speccy's in Australia), but I've found a few speccy corkers: Batty - great arkanoid clone - its on c64, but I prefer the speccy version Jetpac - simple concept, great twitch gameplay, highly addictive Anarchy - puzzler/action/shooter -...

    Compatibility List For New Drmd

Strike up another for the 16 bit mode - never used it. By the way, I discovered a codemasters pinball game I'd never heard of called Psycho Pinball last night (for about 5 mins before my batteries died) which works a treat in the latest beta - not quite up to the classic Amiga pinball games...

    Compatibility List For New Drmd

C'mon people - donate to Reesy until it hurts. Just a few bucks - think of the hours of value you're getting for your money - and think of the hours Reesy is putting in to give us the best he can. DrMD is the pinnacle of GP32 emulation and Reesy deserves all he gets. The more he gets, the...

    Amiga Emulation

I agree with Reesy. A very informative post, nonarKitten. The most authoratitive post yet about Amiga emulation and should put to rest any suggestions it will ever be feasible on our beloved GP32. Should pin it somewhere, I reckon :)

    Compatibility List For New Drmd

Yes, I'm a bit of NZ Story devotee - the genesis version is completely different to the other versions. I don't think it quite measures up to the original, but its still fun :)

    Compatibility List For New Drmd

With the new beta, I've found that in games where the music was previously too fast - eg Ghouls 'n Ghosts, NZ Story, Hellfire - the music now runs at *perfect* speed. :D Looks like I'll something fun to do on what will otherwise be a rather dull Xmas day :D
