What a great start - prepare for the next level!

Yes, but this would be only "OS + app" issues. The other one, the GPU driver is a "hard" one and not directly under our control as not the Pyra's communities core business. But potentially GNU's business and of interest : if they could buy really free hardware and put their own "fully" free...

What a great start - prepare for the next level!

A Creative commons license, e.g CC-SA-BY 4.0 would be not a bad selection, while there are also hardware specific "open" licenses which might address the "exclusive right" reality of hardware schematics better. The http://www.ohwr.org/projects/cernohl/wiki CERN OHL or the TAPR open hardware...

What a great start - prepare for the next level!

Well, I have to say I'm currently pretty confused about it: Even without declaring a concrete license it's not clear to me what is the intention? Creation of a (limited) hobbyist ecosystem (non-commercial "modding" and fixing) or creation of a free and open architecture ("PC like" -> commercial...

    Pyra Media Coverage

Hmm, I have several questions here: what means " schematics will be released to the public in their entirety." exactly ? Will be hobbyist allowed to create non-commercial replacement parts or is this an "full open architecture approach", also commercial competitors will be allowed to create...

Hello ptitseb, I brought it to compilation, substituting one deprecated function and kicking out the Dll which is not required. I can sent you the diff. On the other hand i noticed many racing conditions (gui not locked on animations), a community patch is long overdue.

Great! Another classic available... :) (About Cart life, currently I take a look, some things seems Windows hard-baked (a DLL as binary plugin), also 2-3 minor changes were required for AGS 3.3 compatibility...let's see)

    Keyboard feel

'Indeed, I could be one of them ;) (I would pay for an "tactile" upgrade & tolerate "clicky noises" very well) I still love my IBM keyboard M (nothing beats Buckling spring) and sent even a cherry with blue switches back after testing. My next keyboard would be an Unicomp. But back on topic...

Ahhh, what a pity that Smirftsch was not more open here. But at least the source code is save in this case & might be released in the near future (http://www.dsogaming.com/news/epics-tim-sweeney-says-that-unreal-engine-1-may-one-day-go-open-source/) I hope for same for the similar saved source...

Woow , that was fast, thank you everyone! :) thank you, awaiting your input! :) yes, that's indeed me. Let me elaborate here: this page was born out of ongoing edit wars on the associated "real" open source game page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_open-source_video_games Here, content...

Hello Pandora community, I'm the "maintainer" of a list of commercial developed games with source code available on Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_commercial_video_games_with_available_source_code ), to my knowledge the most complete list on the web available. I followed the...
