Maybe they didn't want to delay it's release. No wait, that doesn't make sense. <ducks>

    Gp2x What For

Those are some very cool and practical uses for the GP32 :) Also, Tom Cruise may have been involved with some hollywood hotties, but that doesn't necessarily mean he's made out with them. *cough* Gay cover-up *cough*

    GP2X Graphic Software

A couple come to mind, altho I have to say I have experience of neither but have heard they are both very good solutions: Pro Motion: This commercial package has been around for some time, and is the choice of many professional commercial 2d game artists. It has many features including the...

New Gp2x Site And Good News

The good news is, most of us still have a GP32! Seriously tho, if they are already planning to release *another* gp2x, delaying the launch for *whatever* reason, and not taking care of their non-korean customers... Who knows, maybe the XGP will start to look more promising...

    Gp2x What For

You need more than 700 disk images at once? ;) I think that the GP2X major selling point is as a portable media player and soon enough the built in linux will become much more than a novelty. The TV-out and resizing of videos is a huge bonus, and SD cards make handheld multimedia much more...

    Gp2x.letter Ready For Your Subscription!

Great stuff :) There can never be enough support for this community, great to see a dedicated news service for the GP2X. I believe that with the dedicated base of GP32 users here, and the influx of excited GP2X users, the global community could be in for a lot of activity in the coming months...

    GP32 Gp2brew Needs You!

Actually I am planning an article on how homebrewers can find free pixel art to use in their games, there's a few good archives on the web if you know where to look. If you would like to create pixel art that the community can use, GP2Brew would be more than happy to host it and feature it in...

    Gp2brew : Issue Zero

Hmm, that's very strange. A few people have reported odd errors, altho we've had no probs with client sites run on the same servers. Will get tech support slaveboy onto it. Oh yeah, for anyone who wants to comment on GP2Brew over on the Pouet.net demo scene site -...

    Gp2brew : Issue Zero

Hey, just on Pouet and I notice some nice scener added GP2Brew over there :) Makes me feel all warm inside it does. I thought I recognised your handle from somewhere, Optimus, you commented on my C64 release earlier this year; PETSCII Ate My Tinysid. Heh, small world. <- Slartibartfast/Chrome...

    Gp2brew : Issue Zero

Thanks for the positive feedback guys :) Yeah, I think the demo scene can be underestimated by non-sceners, as it really can bring a bit of style and energy to the community. Although as I said in the article, the GP32 aint dead yet ;) Yeah, really this was a release to just get the concept...

GP2X The Sdl Demo Effects Collection

Heh, yeah well that did occur to me ;) Just thought someone might like to tackle it as a project, as you say it shouldn't be too difficult. Besides, I'm not in the first run of GP2X's ;)

Wa-hey, it's about time someone picked it up! Great news :) <runs off to send them some news about GP2Brew ;) >

    GP32X frontpage. There ya go.

GP32 The Sdl Demo Effects Collection

Yeah well, I don't think true demo scene coders would use it ;) My point is that homebrewers could use it to create their own scene demos, I mean there's no reason why we can't have homebrewed scene demos in the same way as there are fenix games etc. There have been actual scene demos created...

GP32 The Sdl Demo Effects Collection

If you could convert the ones that do work, that'd be a start ;) It'd be great to see some of these effects in games and GUI stuff :)

GP32 The Sdl Demo Effects Collection

Well, there's 34 individual effects in the library, even more when combining them. I really think that people would make use of it, as it would allow people to create nice effects for their games and the GUI for their games. Also, it would give some homebrewers a go at making demos as well...
