    Sdk Released

Well, since both CPU cores are part of the same chip, there wouldn't have been communication issues anyway :) but yes, this makes it possible to write distributed programs in a very efficient manner. Potentially, yes. If all the sound card does is play canned WAVs (explosions, samples in...

    A Few Questions Before I Pre-order One...

Nope, I have no confirmation letter, but then I ordered on the 18th, which may have been too late. [Edit] I ordered and payed though Paypal, meaning that gp32z should already have gotten my payment. [Edit #2] Just sent them an email asking for info, got this reply: So I guess I'm OK :)

    A Few Questions Before I Pre-order One...

Hmmm, I pre-ordered mine using the order page, I only now saw the "send an email to..." note on the front page. I hope it's not too late?

    Sdk Released

No problem :) I was going over the specs this morning, thinking "wow, the picture in most people's heads is very different from what this thing is really like", so instead of wasting my time on Counterstrike I decided to write up a quick summary of the features.

    Sdk Released

It may be a good idea to have someone else who knows this sort of stuff corroborate my interpretation before you make any changes to the FAQ though... [Edit] Actually, the introduction (setion 1.1 of the PDF) seems to make it pretty clear the two CPU cores are independent of the graphics...

    Sdk Released

A lot of information can be extracted from the CrystalEyes pdf in that docs.zip archive. I can comment on it all I want since I'm not an official developer so I'm not under any kind of NDA, but on the other hand I've never touched the actual hardware, so a lot of what I'm saying below depends...

    GP32 Devkitpro Misery

I'm not sure about the header problems you're having, but the linking problems I've seen before with gcc on other platforms. The problem is that you're asking the C compiler to do the linking, not the C++ compiler (all those functions that aren't found are part of the C++ runtime support...

    Sdk Released

Nope, *but* the docs.zip file contains the datasheet (including low-level register descriptions) for the MagicEyes chip.

    GP2X Gp2x Docs

Wow, they're being really conservative with their choice of software (for example, the latest version of SDL is 1.2.9, and while that's pretty new, 1.2.8 has been out for a while). I also read somewhere that the kernel they're using is from the 2.4 series, while 2.6 (which has a lot of...

    Who Has Already Paid?

I prefer to support local dealers, so I'm going to wait for gp32z to have their order page up (hurry up already! :P) Do we know when the second batch is supposed to come out, in case I miss the first one?
