    And Except Linux?

http://linuxdevices.com/news/NS9692674403.html "Google is my friend" looks like a few links returned some source code downloads too A little premature to dump Linux, methinks. . . .

    Map Where You Are!

Interesting, but limited choices on external to US. Had to say I was from Toronto to get listed (actually from Sault Ste Marie) Apparently it doesn't exist :o

Where Did You Here About Gp2x?

My boss is a gadget enthusiast and mentioned he wanted a handheld he could do quick CAD sketches for the machinists and fabricators. He approached me about this as I double as the company IT dept. Searching the web later I tripped across the GP32 (something I had almost ordered for myself...

    Whats Craig Got For Us?

Dev C++ uses MinGW by default, which is a stripped down version of the GNU toolchain. It also has a nice feature that allows you to have multiple configurations. Very nice for cross-compilation. Several docs are floating around that show you how to config it for DevKitArm etc. IIRC I saw a...

    GP2X Development Tools

http://www.codesourcery.com/gnu_toolchains/arm.html I tripped over this site, has GPL/LGPL toolchains for Windows, Linux, SymbianOS GCC 3.4.3 binutils 2.1.6 glibc 2.3.4 & a debugger looks to be easily plugged into DevC++ (under options - alternate configuration - specify each file location...

GP2X You Want Make Games For Gp2x?

I've got to agree with woogal there, nothing is worse than coding something you've lost all interest in. Did a stint programming simulators of some DOS based tools to train some technicians for a call centre. I did a simulator for FDISK that just about drove me up the wall. Put it aside, came...

    Gp2x Sd Card Writing Speed

IIRC the latest stable kernel for ARM processors is 2.6.4 see www.arm.linux.org.uk On a brighter note 2.6.4 has excellent module support( ie user written modules for SDIO etc), provided we can upgrade kernel via JTAG or UBOOT

    Retrogamingradio About The Gp2x

This may not be the best news at this time. Better to hold of such mass marketing till the system ships. If Nintendo and Sony get wind of this the system could possibly ship without the sdk, or worse. I think we can all benefit from the system shipping before the legal wranglings commence.

940t Is Not A Video Coprocessor

Thanx for the info, Robster & squidge Apologies to Prophet, I went back and read the FAQ again, I was mistaken or read an earlier version. gp32z.com calls it a video coprocessor, /. calls it a video coprocessor and the wiki as well. I probably jumped the gun on your FAQ, again apologies. Back...

940t Is Not A Video Coprocessor

Hi, I'm new hear and just want to clarify something. Seems a lot of places including the basic info FAQ here, keep referring to the 940T as a video processor. If I'm reading the MagicEyes PDF and web based specs correctly the 940T is stripped down 920T ARM processor with 4kb of instruction...
