I highly recommend a checkout of this thread. There are some great mascot mockups of pandas going on ~page 4!
Does this look better?
This... this is amazing. I love it!
Awesome.
I really like all the panda variations too.
Pandas don't need to be cute ( aggressive panda ) You can always draw that panda with a battle ax or katana :D They are also carnivores. Pandas can be all sorts of things...
This doesn't have to be the *official* mascot.
There are plenty of unofficial mascots that are famous.
I was thinking of a panda drawn in a similar style to tux as seen here:
With blue fur instead of black. So the panda has blue & white fur... maybe a blue pandora logo on his tummy.
No...
Noob question but whatever. This includes Open GL ES 2.0 not 1.x?
EDIT: P.S. Very exciting thread, I am about to start my own project (uni semester is over)
And to add, this is exactly what I (and other amateur developers) need, thanks a lot! :D
Yes I understand how you wanted notify to be pantfy, like I said. It would actually be, per the link I posted, panto-fy not panot-fy.
I think it would be cool if not all pandora apps used the Pan prefix (though I am guilty of it too). It would be cool to use other ancient greek words.
Edit...
I agree with the name change idea. I understand how you wanted notify to be pantfy but it doesn't look or work well. Reads like panties :o
Anyways, I have been showing this page around for Pandora app names:

For your app:
"diakon"...
Looks very cool. I am kind of worried about it hogging system resources however... though that might be from my faulty understanding of Linux processes and the power of the Pandora.
Ahhh I see. Thanks for giving me that technical info.
I thought there was a misunderstanding that there was only one nulldc port. I didn't know about DynaRec and how its benefits aren't applicable to the pandora.
thanks for you patience.
JayRox:
Right now there are two different development tracks. One is to get the nullDC working on PSP and the other is to get it working on the beagleboard. The Beagleboard fork is being developed by "ZeZu" and is showing tremendous promise as per the last two videos on that blog...
That is amazing! I am pretty pumped... I had so many happy times playing soul caliber on the dreamcast.
This might be the flagship emulator for the Pandora, I think.
I hope they got Pandora dev boards so it will work when the Panda starts roaring. I think the beagle board they are using is...
Not entirely true. We can hear the speakers in action in the latest video clip:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qcnqLZC_uY#t=2m45s
The sound is awfully low, but the sound is there. I don't know if we can pass judgment just from that clip however.
I typically haven't considered plugs, last...
Do you know what the secret is for the speakers on that phone? I am with you and assumed that all small devices have crap sound (I have an Aspire One too ;) ). I don't really care, I actually am in the market for some decent headphones right now.
That is pretty hilarious! Its too bad to, 'penis' would've worked on so many levels for some emulating software.
Anyways I suggest going classic and thinking of a greek word. I mix and match the greek roots, they might not make actual sense but whatever.
"Pan/Panto" means all, which is a good...
