I ordered ~May 09 so I think I am in high 3k :( That is why I am so interested in how many pandoras will be produced per day.
Course assembly will be a lot smoother around my unit :D
I don't know about that, I thank the Fates that English speaking countries pioneered CompSci and the Internet infrastructure so that I didn't need to learn another language. (selfish I know)
Damn it now I have to watch those :D
Subtitles are fine. The first video had nice ones but I can tell they were rendered on. Just use YouTube annotations/close caption thing if that is faster.
Thanks for your work!

I would love to see other parts, I wasn't around for the beginning of gp32x.
Edit: Just got done watching the two parts.
I know I have been around only for a year, but EvilDragon reaffirmed why I want to be a part of the OpenPandora adventure. Granted, it was supposed to be released a while...
I just want to know who will be building them. I know ED and MWeston and fatih will be heading to the UK, but for how long? They won't be there for the entire 4k assembly run.
I worry that craigix's clan of family and friends will be soldering on nubs and not care if they are off-center. I...
Switching useragents will work if the site simply does not allow Moz Firefox. If the page has IE specific rendering issues, then you will need IE itself.
There is an addon for windows firefox to view pages only rendered in IE: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419
But nothing...
Yea I agree. I don't think you should be spending time on the 'appstore', I think assembly is a much higher priority.
Perhaps you can open up the parts of the website that aren't associated with accounts so people can work out the bugs.
Well I don't know how you are using the database, what...
Since the first batch will not be silkscreened, you can paint on your own icons to the case. That is kind of DIY :P
(I don't mind having no silkscreen, its a better 'first batch' badge than the planned icon)
I have general concerns about how the assembly of the units will take place. It is clear the move from the TX, USA to Village hall, UK could be a pretty big deal.
Well first as an American I was bummed to hear the shipping would take a lot longer.
But when I thought of the TX assembly line...
Criagix is the appstore going to be open source?
Also what vendor will you use to support payment to developers? I suggest google checkout. That is working out nicely on the droid market.
Great post. I really admire the developers of any part of the Pandora (including you DaveC). They are the real deal, walk the walk, etc. Very awesome and I just wanted to express my thanks. I don't know how you put up with the provocative trolls... may you find more patience!

EvilDragon pretty much said what I had tried to articulate:

The heat of the project must get intense, but don't let it out on your prepaid customers. Redirect that energy elsewhere.
