Too bad there seems to be no room for SD cards and spare batteries. The top part seems to have room for TV cable and earbuds, not sure I like having hard stuff packed closely on top of my screen though...
Again, a link to Dev-C++ is inside Sol's tutorial. How do you suspect to manage programming if you don't look up simple things like this? Programming is all about solving problems all the time.
You don't need to download SDL if you use Dev-C++, it can connect to a server and download the latest version of SDL. Just check Sol's tutorial for Dev-C++ as I recomended in my thread.
After watching countless anime I say that they pronounce it "lavu".
Although for some reason they got their alphabet translated with R instead of L they pronounce them both as L. Since japanese is built on sounds that are combinations of 2 letters they usually add a woval to the end of english...
GP2X for sure. It got 2D acceleration, a 3:4 screen and a digital joystick and all that is good for emulation and homebrew. BTW, where does it say that XGP have an alalogue stick? Also GP2X have a lot of support from the community and they are also very good at taking care of their community.
Photoshop is great if you ask me. I use if for all my 2D art as you can both use it for pixel art and to make GUIs and stuff like that. The layer effects are great for GUI art. The best thing is to combine renders from a 3D program (in 32bit so you get perfect transparency) with your 2D...
If you are taking little breaks it's not like you are not sticking with your project as long as you pick it up again before you forget how the code works. That's another big problem with taking breaks, if they are too long it's gonna take a lot of work just to get full understanding of your own...
Cyclops:
My point was my first line: "A propper port is usually a lot better for playing on a handheld as well". And that means that you need to do various things with the game to make sure the player can see everything propperly and also play the game propperly with the controlls. Not all...
I like this idea too and I wish you good luck with it. But as I've seen before many fan based newsletters die out sooner or later if there's no official backing and good stream of news from the community and other interesting parts. I would surely be happy to write about anything and everything...
What I mean is that a quick port does not make a good end product compared to a propperly done port. As a gamer I couldn't care less if you spent 2 evenings or 2 month on a project and what you learned in the proccess. If the game doesn't play as nicely as it could on a sertain device then it's...
Maybe we should have a semi concave stick? Convex on the edges for that extra accuraccy when you need it and concave in the center so your thumb won't slip when you need fast or continous movements.
The gp32z shot looks like S-video and RCA audio exept that with stereo audio you want them red and white coded so you get the channels correct the first time every time. Also most RCA cables are double male so you would prefer females on this cable like you see on all audio devices.
