    RISCOS on Pyra?

RISC OS 3.7 and 4.39 has 4MB, RISC OS 5.xx 5MB unsqueezed ROMs. So it is not relevant. Have 240MB free on my Classic Pandora after the desktop ist working. Is my standard config. AppDock, Fat32FS and other additional stuff is loaded. Update and try new ROMs are easier... My Risc PC has 4.39...

    RISCOS on Pyra?

I think (more I'm sure) that the ROM is loaded complete to the RAM ... since Iyonix times.

    RISCOS on Pyra?

Titanium: In flash is the bootloader and the ROM. The ROM you can change/update with a FlashSPI or softload if the OS is running. A harddisc or a sd card you need only for the "harddisc stuff". You can open a rudimentary desktop without a external storage device but but does that make sense...

    RISCOS on Pyra?

Is what the Elesar support tells me. The hardware is the same. The RISC OS bootstuff or the Linux bootloader are placed in flash.!GoLinux loads the Linux bootfiles in RAM and close RISC OS without losing to boot Linux. Looks comparable to the old Risc PC way to boot ArmLinux V2. As I understand...

    RISCOS on Pyra?

The laptop in this pic is a Motorola Lapdock. I use it normally for my SchlepPi later for my SchlepPi zero . The board on the left is a OMAP5 board connected to the Lapdock. When the picture was taken I had to start RISC OS via the serial console of the Pandora. Then the Pandora reports the...

    [TESTED]: GPS on Pandora

It was more a "beagle-side-project" not a big one and not for the Pandora at first. So it is not really documented. Have find any old "hand notes". I use UART3_RX in my test solution. TX I not use. Have wrote something like "peak-stable < 3V" but I have not note where I find this information. I...

    [TESTED]: GPS on Pandora

Upps, the time is running. Was 2012/2013 as I build... Sorry, you're right but I thought about it then before I build. The points are highlighted in red in my paper. I remember I was in contact with ED (?) or Notaz (?). Can not find the mails quickly. I use a 3-wired solution and only TX on the...

    [TESTED]: GPS on Pandora

Not sure what you mean. I put the Pandoras 3V out to 3,3V breakout in. TX to RX, RX to TX, GND to GND and use it like a serial connection. Works with my Classic (extern) and my GHz (intern) Pandora since more than one year.

Windows95 auf der Pandora mit Qemu jetzt vieel einfacher

Wie liefen denn die damals angedachten Tests? Ansonsten ist Geoworks dagegen sogar nutzbar ;)

    PC/GEOS

Have try on my Classic in RISC OS. Is working. Anything like a 286'er feeling. ;) If anything has a interest, I can upload the DOSBox stuff. Have try RISC OS DOSBox and FastDOSBox but it should also work with the Angström DOSBox.

    [TESTED]: GPS on Pandora

New SatNav (free) and RiscOSM (commercial) is out now. Good reason to try... RiscOSM is OpenStreetMap viewer, not a navigator but it redraw the map "on the fly". I use the last Distro. I only add SatNav and RiscOSM.
