I actually found a version that was already cracked on a website I won't mention here.
Anyway, I think only the executable would be encrypted, the game data looks like it's in a separate file.
My problem is, I have no idea what to look for inside the file. I read on another topic on here that...
Since I started going to college here at Pitt State last year, I've gathered a significant amount of Korean friends. It's my hope that through them, I'll eventually be able to understand the text in Astonishia Story R.
I was wondering though, how feasible it would be to write a translation...
Hey, it's great to see you outside JSII!
I'm not sure, but I think DaveC was doing D-Pad mods at one time. You might try sending him a PM - here's his profile:

Yeah, it still looks pretty broken...
I do see, though, that they seem to have fixed the downloader app. I actually get a progress bar now, and I don't have to wonder if my game is downloading, leaving the window open and hoping it'll finish.
That would make sense, it could be failing to prevent the sound from one channel entering the other.
Depends on how good you are with a soldering iron, I guess. It could involve just flipping the diode around, or perhaps desoldering one end and running a jumper to somewhere else. Nothing too...
Any of you checked the GPH facebook? It says they're performing 'server maintenance' on FunGP.com until September 5th.
I seriously doubt GPH would be doing any kind of maintenance on their website if they were abandoning the business.
DealExtreme has the A330EX cheaper than that. I haven't seen the A380 yet.
The A330EX appears to be identical to the Gemei A330, but is Dingoo branded.
I went for the A320 because, apparently, the A330 isn't entirely backwards-compatible (and I really wanted a Dingoo for the Lynx emulator...
Oh. Well, used, I guess. Though I saw a new one for $112 once, I think. Still, $80 for a Caanoo at this point in time would be just about impossible, I think.
Where the heck is the Caanoo $80? I can only find it as low as $130.
Even if it is somewhere for $80, it's a little big for my taste (at least for something new). Plus, I like digital controls. I have a Wiz already, and I'm getting a Dingoo A320 now so I can try out the Lynx emulator on it. I...
I just wanted to post that I have, indeed, confirmed the separation issue.
The left channel plays both the left and right channel sounds at equal volume. Therefore, the left channel is perfectly mono.
The right channel plays right channel sounds at a slightly louder volume than the left...
OK, yeah, that's a little weird.
Hmm...
Maybe try changing SDL.h to SDL/SDL.h and SDL_opengl.h to SDL/SDL_opengl.h in the file that's complaining?
The Makefile looks OK to me at first glance.
I used to get the exact same thing, then I figured out I had to add my system headers from /usr/include to the Makefile in order to trick the compiler to fake the existence of OpenGL (even though it compiles and runs without OpenGL in its current state).
But yeah, sound is screwy for some...
I was trying to sign up with a GMX mail account. I do have a gmail account though, I guess I could try it.
EDIT: Oh, weird, it did work with gmail.
What the crap is up with that? Their website only works in IE and their sign-up only works with gmail?
EDIT 2: Now, I can't get their...
Even if it does work in IE compatibility mode, that doesn't change the fact that I absolutely cannot sign up because the site does not send me the confirmation e-mail!
That is, perhaps, the most important thing to fix. Because their 'contact us' link is broken, though, I have no way to notify...
